3X Sky Q TV Box Light Dimmer Vinyl Decal Stickers - Cover Up & Dim Down That Bright Light On Your Sky Q Box - EPIC MODZ

I'm a bit light sensitive (probably more than a bit) and the blue Q on the sky box really got on my nerves - especially in the evenings/at night when the room is dimmed and we're watching something on telly. After deciding to give these a go I'm so glad I did. I had to use 2 of the stickers (one on top of the other) but they have stopped the blue glare and I can now settle down to watch my favourite tv shows and films without the irritating blue light.These are probably over priced for what they are (hence I've knocked one star off) but they are sized ready to go and do the job required.

The media could not be loaded.  These two small stickers fit the Sky Q logo perfectly with enough spare space to allow a slightly off-centre application.The sticky side doesn't feel too strong but it seems to give excellent binding to the Q's casing. Despite this, its clear that with a little scrape of a fingernail the stickers can be removed safely.I wanted an even darker Q logo so I doubled up the two stickers. However this does make the power light stand out a bit. My solution was to fold one sticker while still on the non-stick backing card it came with. Then I cut a small semi-circle out of the folded edge giving me a large dot and a ring shaped sticker for the Q and a smaller dot shaped sticker for my power light. (the larger complete sticker is needed to dim the red record light in the middle of the Q).If you decide to cut a hole out of one of the stickers be aware that the tail of the Q invades the inner space of the ring so you want to make sure you don't cut too big a hole. Remember the semicircle you cut will double in size when unfolded so you really don't need to cut much out.Also be aware that despite my video suggesting otherwise, if you double up the stickers the blue ring will be almost invisible to the naked eye even in a dark room so only my power light and record light are visible (but dimmer).For a few pounds more there is a large pack on Amazon called LightDim which has many stickers of different sizes and they may be of better value if you have lots of LEDs around the home.

Does a great job at removing the glare from the Sky Q light, but still allows enough to see at a glance what the box is doing.

Yeah they're expensive for what they are, but it's only a couple of quid and it solves the problem of that annoyingly bright sky Q logo just a treat.

The media could not be loaded.  Perfect, covers light fine, just a note when peeling the stickers from sheet it is tricky to get the circles off, you get two of them. I cut the first one out before realising it was pre cut. In the middle of a circle is a pin prick to allow red recording light through, also pause something and record the program before fixing sticker as said in other reviews to ensure you align it. Used it in on the Sky Q 2tb box.

It’s just a translucent sticker. It does the job in a low-tech way!

The light on the SkyQ is very bright and this does the job of hiding it. It helps if you record something and have it on pause at the same time then all the lights show up. Brilliant!
