Good fit, good quality, great look.
Like most people who bought this product, the headband and earpad covers on my M50x's had started to flake away. They lasted a good 8 years though, so I can't complain.I had the choice of buying new headphones, or replacing the covers, so I went with the replacement headband and earpads, and I'm glad I did, because that was way cheaper!I went with the brown ones, and they look super cool. They headband was easy to fit and didn't take more than a few minutes. The earpad covers took a little longer and required a bit of fidgeting, but I wouldn't say it was hard to fit them. They're as comfortable as the originals, and feel like they're made of a similar material, which means that in about 8 years, I might need to replace them again!

Fiddly and lack of instructions doesn’t help but worth the effort for a great finish
The media could not be loaded. Having owned my ATH-M50 headphones now for 13 years, the headband outer pleather has completed disintegrated. Although I did temporarily wrap insulation tape around it to keep bits of black plastic from going everywhere, I decided it was time to replace it.This replacement headband cover pad comes with a soft pliable pleather outer cover, stiff inner plastic liner, foam cushion and both double-sided tape and velcro type fastening. A small Philips screwdriver is also included to remove the plastic end caps, necessary to hide the ends of the cover.Oddly there are no instructions included with the band. There is a very simple guide on the product listing, but it took me some time to figure out how best to fit this. The first step is to carefully cut off the old outer cover from the headband. Be careful doing this as there is foam padding underneath this which I managed to nick it with scissors, although in the end it didn’t cause any issues. I left both the existing upper and lower foam in place as that appeared to be fine. You first need to peel apart the velcro fastened edge on the new headband cover. There’s a stiff piece attached one side which I positioned underneath the headband (the velcro strip facing outwards) and used the already attached double-sided tape on the inner surface to fix it to the underside foam of the headphone band. It’s vital before sticking that you align this perfectly central with the headphones so the ends will fit under the clips once replaced. The pleather part of the new cover needs to stretch over both the top and underside of the band and over itself, so that the velcro ends join up along the front (or rear) edge of the headband. I tried videoing this to illustrate it. I didn’t use the piece of additional double sided tape included as the velcro held it in place very securely. It’s quite fiddly though especially to get a clean fix so the edges align neatly and I did need to separate and reattach the velcro a few times whilst stretching and repositioning the edge of the cover. One aligned the plastic covers can be reattached, ensuring as with all plastic threads to first turn the tiny screws a turn or so anticlockwise so to engage the existing threads in the plastic before tightening them up. Fortunately the included screwdriver is magnetic as the screws are very small. Do not over-tighten as these only screw into plastic. Finally press around the pleather cover to ensure the edges are smooth. The end result looks fantastic and my ATH-M50s look like new, I also fitted some matching new ear cushions which you find find under my reviews. Overall excellent value although I feel some detailed instructions would have been nice in the box.

Superb Replacement
A little fiddly to put on but only took a few minutes. This, along with the ear pads have made the headphones look brand new. A musician at a wedding I filmed last night loved the look of them plus the fact they feel cool against your head when worn.Another thing. My wife complained that she could hear everything I was listening to when I was wearing the worn out pads. Now she can't hear anything! Really happy with the noise cancellation and the headphones look brand new again 👍

Easy to fit, seems decent enough
The headband itself is easy to fit, a 5 minute job. It’s the right size and shape, and the padding feels comfy enough. I can’t comment on the durability, having only just fitted it to my Audio-Technica ATH-M50x’s but it has certainly given my headphones a bit more life, after the original headband pu material disintegrated, leaving only the foam padding. Certainly worth buying if your headband is showing it’s age, and a lot cheaper than a new set of headphones

Does The Job
The headband cover on my much loved ATH-M50x headphones was shedding bits after years of heavy use and Audio Technica don't sell replacements, so I bought the SOULWIT replacement after seeing the positive reviews on Amazon. I don't consider myself very practical but can confirm that I found it fairly easy to affix in about 10-15 minutes by following the instructions. It looks good and seems to be as comfortable as the original. I've also replaced the ear pads so the headphones are now looking almost as good as new!

Decent, but size isn't great
I don't dislike it, but there are two faults that prevent this product from getting more than 3 stars. The first one is that the size is slightly on the smaller size, you really have to stretch it and put a lot of effort in being able to fit and then wrap this cover around the skeleton of the headphones. The second issue is that the adhesive is not powerful enough, I keep having to reattach one side. It is not too bad, but again, I am not sure I would buy it again. I would rather replace the whole part of the headphones instead.

Ease of fitting
I was thinking of upgrading my Audio-Technica M50x headphones even though I've had them quite a while I decided to change the earpads and headband well I'm glad I did the quality of the headband is good and the fitting instructions were easy to follow.
