It did the job! Much more comfortable than my stock stagehand helmet. It made it better taking off my chin cup and just using the strap. You have to E tape the strap so it doesn’t adjust unintentionally.

Bought this for a rescue class and it fit comfortably even age wearing it 8 hours a day.

I purchased this for tree work and have used it quite a bit for that. I love the integrated visor and ear muffs so much that I use it mostly for mowing my lawn. It's comfortable and I love the vents that can be opened or closed.My lawn kicks up so much dirt and dust that I have to wear a dust mask. I also had to wear safety glasses and ear muffs. The problem is the safety glasses would always fog up and little pebbles would get behind the safety glasses and poke my eyes anyway. The visor does not fog up when I use the helmet with the dust mask. It's very dangerous to breathe in dust. With this helmet I can protect my eyes, ears, lungs, and head, no matter what work I'm doing with it.

I work as an Environmental Restoration Technician, so I usually use the helmet during the winter months when we do alot of clearing, and brushpile work. I'm not sure how well this will hold up if you work as an arborist, but it held up well for me and has served me greatly.The main feature I was looking for was aeration, I tend to sweat alot and my helmet from the company I worked for was just a basic helmet with virtually no air flow, this however has small doors you can open and close which benefitted me greatly if it was cold and as winter transitioned into spring.The hard hat also comes with ear muffs, not that I needed it, I used my ear buds that were noise cancelling and those were enough at times, but when close to a chainsaw, you definitely wanted to add on ear protection. The ear muffs were extra but if you do alot of chainsawing it was definitely needed, along with earplugs/noise cancelling ear buds (good ones).The added chin strap also helped with stability and made sure to keep the hard hat on my head, unlike a basic hard hat. Definitely a plus if you want safety in mind. Also the hat looks cool, so what else can you not like about it?

I have been using this helmet for a few weeks now. It is much nicer and of much better quality than some of the cheaper helmets I have owned. It's nice and light. The face shield isn't as wonky as the longer shields. This makes it easier to get into tight spots between limbs and brush when I'm working. However, I can get some debris flying back into my face which is uncomfortable at times. So, there is a tradeoff. The best face shield is the one that you have and have deployed. This shield is very easy, convenient and less cumbersome, so I naturally seem to deploy it without thought. I also wear glasses. The shield easily comes over the glasses with plenty of ventilation so I don't have fogging issues. The helmet also has generally good venting, so I don't overheat unnecessarily. The ear protection can easily be swung into place or out of the way. With other helmets that I have had, this feature broke almost right away.
