This nebulizer works well to distribute the essential oils.Pros: mostly easy to use, oils waft out satisfactorily, strength of scent is good, white design is sleek lookingCons: the light on the unit is always on by default, and it doesn’t turn off when the unit auto shuts off. This has resulted in burned looking micro tubes, which looks unpleasant and is noticeable in an all white unit. The other annoying quality is that the unit is all white, but the ac adapter and cord are black. Why wouldn’t the cord match the base unit? This looks strange.

Fourth review: I am changing my rating back to 5 stars because I have no other way to indicate how extraordinarily supportive this company is. After my last review the switch on my diffuser started slipping - they asked me to return the unit (paid postage) so they can evaluate my Opulence and they sending a new replacement. I cant remember ever receiving such excellent service. 3/6/20.Review.: Upgraded my review after talking to manufacturer. They have some very helpful troubleshooting videos to determine whether your diffuser is clogged or if the motor is defective. In most cases the glass filaments get clogged. My unit was clogged in spite of my best efforts. I cleaned hardened oils by soaking overnight in 97% alcohol. Working fine now. I changed my review to four stars just because of the finicky maintenance requirements. Manufacturer was helpful. Recommendations solved the problem. (2/16/20).2nd review: Unfortunately I have to write this update and change my rating - Shortly after I wrote my first review (see below ) my Opulence Nebulizer stopped diffusing the essential oils. Seems like the motor lost power and now is not strong enough to vaporize the oils. There’s still some air flow but not enough to disperse the oils through the top of the glass vial - rather it just makes a very fine mist inside the vial. As you can see below I’ve taken extra special care to keep my nebulizer sparkling clean. It’s still clean but is no longer functions. So... Amazon return period has expired. I’m going to seek a remedy directly from the manufacturer. This was a relatively expensive unit. I could have bought five cheapie sonic diffusers for the price of this nebulizer. I wish I had. Buy something simpler and cheaper. (2/12/20)First Review: I’ve had this product for almost 4 months and use it just about every day. It’s worked perfectly for me so far. I think it looks like a magic genie 🧞‍♀️ bottle. The oil vapors come out the hole in the top and also escape around the edges of the top. The cord is black and I wish it was white to match the ceramic base. There are no plastic components. I am very, very gentle with this unit. Glass container and glass nebulizer elements in the bottom of the vial are delicate. I clean religiously once a week by rinsing with alcohol and running 80% rubbing alcohol (alcohol with minimal water content) through the unit until clear and clean. I also clean after using heavy oils and don’t use any thick sticky oils. Also I do not use carrier oils. Once I had to flush the nebulizer tubes manually with the long plastic eye dropper that comes with the unit. I don’t let it sit unused for more than a day and always clean thoroughly if I’m going to be away from home. Sometimes if you turn the unit all the way up you can hear a slight spray whisper but only you’re standing right next to the unit and mostly when cranked up. The light is nice but you can turn off with a touch of you don’t like it. It will eventually quit spraying automatically if you forget to turn it off. The aromas drift easily through my two story house and even onto the front porch, garage and patio depending on the pungency of the oils. All my friends envy me. It’s pricey to begin with and takes TLC but worth it. I bought for aesthetics and therapy and absolutely did not want to heat the oils or diffuse the through plastic. So far so good.

I would give this 5 stars but for 2 reasons for me. The product requires weekly deep cleaning diligently. Some oils will not diffuse with this product limiting my selection. For example pure organic orange oil. A list of acceptable oils should be provided and described for the discerning shopper

I purchased this nebulizing diffuser a few weeks ago for my wife. She is a Yankee Candle addict who seemingly could not pass a YC store without going in and purchasing the latest seasonal scent. While I love my wife and like her to have what pleases her, I am not a fan of candles. I find the odors overwhelming and don’t like the feeling of vaporized candle wax wafting through the house, landing on my clothes, and inhaling it into my lungs.When fall set in and the windows closed for the season, the candles were back, so I did a bit of research on alternatives and found nebulizing diffusers online. I did not know much about them before buying—one looked just like the other. What sold me finally was the stylish design of the Organic Aromas brand. If I was going to have this thing sitting in my home, I wanted a stylish and sophisticated look. I took the plunge and bought it along with a box of six scents.I cannot describe the difference it makes. Instead of stale candle smoke wafting through the house, this nebulizer is more like the smell of flowers. Yes, the scent is there but it is light, not pungent. It doesn’t hang in the air. I am not a fan of any scents in the house, but I do like flowers, and this nebulizer is the next best thing to having a bouquet of freshly cut lavender or another type of flower sitting in a vase on the kitchen counter. Best of all, my wife is sold on it as well. Adios candles!

this is one of the worst diffusers I have owned; doesn't last and the top cap of the diffuser does not have a good design because the aroma would only be around the unit and takes a slightly longer time for other part of the room to have the smell (this compare to a top cap that has a protruding spout-like).I bought it back in march 24, 2018 and only used it less than 10 times in these 2 years; used it a few times in 2018, 2019 and then 3 times in 2020 before it died.in 2020, it worked once and by the 2nd time I turned it on, I have to set it at middle-to-higher speed for the diffuser to work. by the 3rd time I turned it on, nothing came out even at the highest setting.for what I paid (99 plus tax), it's really junk. I have another diffuser that I used 80% of the year and after 2 years 1 month, it's still going strong and I only paid 59.99. it did not have any lights but the stream of aroma comes out great.I'm off to shop for another diffuser to replace this unit.

Our nebulizing diffuser of choice is the brand new Opulence diffuser from Organic Aromas. Nebulizing diffusers are an amazingly effective solution for those who are looking to use aromatherapy in their home, office, etc. I must admit – it all sounded a little ‘daunting’ when I first opened up the box and looked at this gorgeous glass and ceramic nebulizing diffuser. However, after reading the instructions over two times I realized that it was all actually quite easy and straight forward. It took me a total of 5 minutes to set up the diffuser, add my oil of choice and begin filling my home with the wonderful aroma!Afew of our favorite features on the Opulence Nebulizing Diffuser are: The diffuser has a ‘touch sensor’ light switch and runs on a cycle of 2 minutes on, 1 minute off (and completely stopping on its own after 2 hours). I love the elegant look of the diffuser. In a home with 6 young-ish children there aren’t too many elegant items that I have on display. 😉 However, this is an elegant treat for me and not only adds that little touch of elegance to a room in our home, but also serves a purpose. The small white colored LED light in the bottom of the diffuser adds to the elegance.Perhaps my favorite aspect of Organic Aromas’ nebulizing diffuser is that it is powerful. This little machine can quickly emit a strong scent across a large in area in a short period of time. The fist time we used it, I set it up on the counter and with in a few minutes I could smell the aromatherapy scents on the other side of the room…and before long I could also smell it in the next room! Impressive. Sounds pretty scientific, but it’s really very simple and it works amazingly well. This past week we’ve been fighting head colds in our house…and I finally fell victim to the cold myself after caring for all the kids for few days. My cold symptoms were a lot less than usual and I really believe that the diffuser played a huge role in that!This particular diffuser – Opulence – not only works amazingly well, but has also been constructed with a handcrafted white ceramic base, a beautiful glass reservoir, and the gorgeous LED mood lighting. It is versatile, simple, and seems to do its job effortlessly. The Opulence was also very quiet when it was operating, which is another plus.The final verdict? Although I was a bit intimidated by a nebulizing diffuser at first, I can now see that there was no reason for me to be intimidated! It is gorgeous, easy to use, and provides amazing benefits for our family. While this is not the kind of diffuser you would put within the reach of your toddlers or young children, it is perfect for your living room or in a safe place where little hands can’t reach it. My husband bought me this last Christmas. I loved this product as it carried the smell into several rooms, and was very simple and easy to use. I went to go turn it on this past week, and nothing happened. The motor has a slight hum usually while working, I guess it just gave up. I didn't use it daily so I was super disappointed, this was not a cheap purchase and I really expected more longevity from the product. I don't usually write reviews. This being a splurge purchase for many, I guess I just wanted to let people in on my unfortunate experience.Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else.*EDIT- I decided to take the chance and contact the company, hoping they would respond. Customer service responded right away and were willing to help me with great professionalism. I am now on my way towards diffusing once again. Glad this company truly does care for their customers! *EDIT # 2 - Well, today is November 17 2020, and I have still not received my diffuser that I was told to pay to send back and that they would fix! What a joke! I have contacted them 4 times and now I get no response. I have all my emails and tracking numbers that show I sent it back. After reading all of these reviews, I think its pretty clear they are selling a defective product!!! Amazon should do something, this is ludicrous!!!!

I've had this product for 2 1/2 yrs and love it! I didn't want to keep adding water to a diffusser all the time, and was delighted to find this option! It used to be approx. $150, so it's nice to see it has come down in price so it's more affordable.To clean it, unplug, add rubbing alcohol using the plastic dropper, and empty.I like the classic white & white light design, and I've always used mine on low because these are so effective at dispensing the oils into the air ~ fills the whole room! Just be careful to keep away from children & pets - very fragile.

I don’t often write reviews, however I’m quite disappointed. I loved the look and function of this diffuser while it lasted. I bought it in 2018 and have taken great care of it, following all directions recommended by Organic Aromas. I have the same diffuser in black, which stopped working a few months ago. I was told I could send it for repair, at my own expense to have it shipped and with no guarantees. What prompted me to write this review is this machine has now also stopped working. I reached out to the company to let them no, and it was reiterated I could send them for repair, again at my own expense for the shipping costs. These machines are beautifully crafted and are worth the money provided they work longer than 3-4 years.

I've used this diffuser for about a year. No problems with it so far. It's easy to use and clean. It's very silent and works well. The controls are easy to figure out and it's great that it turns off automatically after 2 hours. The light gives it a neat look but it's good that it can be turned off.
