John deer lawnmower took there quick oil change junk off an put the kit on it

This is great upgrade for the original air filter that you cannot get all the oil out with.

This did not fit my John Deere E-130 lawnmower at all. I had to make a trip down to Lowes to purchase the John Deere actual replacement. For the seller, I would like to return for full refund, and I will give a reply on the ease of return if not satisfied.

You will need a 28mm socket, a 7/16" hex/allen socket. (11mm may work too). The kit is easy to install but you need a few tools to install. What amazes me is how much more oil comes out of the engine AFTER you remove the large original filter. I say it is more than a quart. My point is you are only changing HALF the oil if you keep using the original large oil filter. Plus, that filter costs $50. After the kit, the cost of a new filter will be around $5 but more importantly, you will be changing ALL the oil. (Not just half the oil)

I have not installed these yet because the product is not oem. I'll have to get out from under my manufacturer's warranty first. The product looks quality in my opinion. I'll update later. Just bought the two kits so that I would have them on hand.

Removed that silly expensive John Deere money grab thing, and bolted this on.Have a few hours on the tractor now, no leaks works fine.

Oil drip pipe could be a little longer

Kit fit perfectly and also included two fuel filters. Great value for price.

Great product for John Deere S160 lawn tractor this will clean all the old engine oil. !_!It was easy to change the assembly for rookies like me. I would recommend to watch few youtube videos before you buy. The product is great and fits perfectly.

It installs fine. However the plastic end cap on the oil drain extension is flimsy. I keep it in place with an adjustable clamp because I am concerned it will fall off from vibration while running the tractor. Better be safe than sorry.

A friend recommended I eliminate the easy change oil filter and this kit did everything I needed. Highly recommend you do this if you own a John Deere lawn mower with an easy change filter. This enabled me to get rid of an extra litre of dirty oil out of my engine.
