Perfect!
I purchased this to replace one that was totally worn out, very old, and had split. Perfect size for making my rhubarb aronia berry wine. So happy to have found it here on Amazon because my local beer/wine making store shut down.

10 Gallon Fermenter
This fermenter is large enough for batches up to eight gallons. This leaves enough head space to allow the gasses to escape. It is easy to clean.

This is a piece of junk! Don't order, for any reason!
This is a super-flimsy, thin walled, not sealing tub. You can buy better at the local box store. If this is supposed to be for brewing, you have to kid me! You could probably get a better option at the local paint store. This is similar to a cheap trash can (at an exorbitant price!) and I've never, ever been more disappointed with any product delivered by Amazon. You just have to be kidding, go buy a trash can at your local junk store.

It's not really sturdy, save your money find something better.
I bought this to ferment grain mashes in. Some other reviews said it was really sturdy, and I beg to differ. The plastic is very thin and once to get hot water in it and 15 lbs of grain when you pick it up if feels like the bottom might give out. The lid is not air tight. It is not food grade plastic. The only good thing is you can see through it. I probably would've sent it back but I couldn't decide before I put a adhesive thermometer on it. I'll probably use it a few times untill I get something better and sturdier. Them I'll probably use it for grain storage maybe. the thin plastic really scares me when I have to move this thing. I would save your money and try to find something better.

Carboy.
Not a perfect seal at the top but cheap for the size. You’ll have to drill a hole for airlock. Nice that you can place it where you want.

Perfect for my needs
Perfect for my needs. Thick plastic material, easily held the water I was putting in it for a project I was working on. A bit expensive but it's a specialty item. If you need a 10 gallon capacity opaque container for holding these amounts of liquids, this works well.

Great fermenter.
I looked all over for a reasonably priced 10 gallon fermentation vessel. This has worked great for me at a fraction of the price I was seeing elsewhere.
