125 Litre 125L Extra Large Metal Galvansied Dustbin Kitchen House Garden Storage Unit Bin with Special Locking Lid

I had to buy this to store my large bags of dog food in . As it is metal the mice can't chew through it which is what I needed. I live in the countryside and mice soon learn where there is a food source. It is surprising how much they will get through. This bin has stopped them getting to the food and they have all gone off to pastures new!

I was a bit hesitant buying this bin, as a few reviews referred to crushed lids (being wedged inside the bin when packed) and flimsy latching handles . My lid was inside the bin when I unpacked it, but not wedged, so not dented and bent in anyway, nor the bin itself for that matter. The wire that grips the handles to latch to the bin, is slim, but seems pretty strong to me - the lid has stayed on tight and there is a very strong gale blowing outside at the moment! All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. A smart bin which holds our often heavy refuse bags with no problems at all.

The bin arrived with a dent in it but was still useable so we kept it. Ideal for bird seed bin.

We, like others have bought this to keep dry dog food in. We are surrounded by squirrels who have ninja skills but are now out manoeuvred by this bin with its simple ‘locking’ system. Yes it did arrive with a small dent in it but this did not detract from its smart shiny appearance.

Able to store rubbish away from rodents- my cats have corn based biodegradable litter which oddly encouraged rats. So this bin solved the problem. No dents, great delivery.

I ordered two. They arrived jammed together with the bottom one crushed at the bottom and VERY difficult to separate, actual bins are reasonable quality but the delivery method leaves a lot to be desired, a simple bit of packing between the two bins could have prevented the damage.

Second purchase of a bin this style with the closures on the handles. This was the larger one this time And the previous one is still good after a good few years now. Highly recommend. It also arrived by the same courier at the same time as the bird food ! 😁
