Works great

I bought 3 of these last year I’m impressed on how well they work! When the battery is charged they stop charging as the power from the battery starts to lose some charge it kicks back on and brings it up to full charge. I have a bunch of equipment that have batteries plus two cars in storage for the winter. They work great!!!

Right out of the box I checked it with my multi-meter and it showed 6v - THEN NOTHING! It worked for one second!Update: Tried a second one and it showed nothing on my multi-meter either. Maybe the internal brain doesn't allow a current to be produced unless connected to a battery. But, if that's the case, how can I know a battery is being charged?UPDATE: They worked when attached to a battery, so changed from one star to 4 star. The reason not 5 star is that they can't be tested on a volt-meter. (At least I couldn't get them to show any voltage.)

I have 3 old cars and these trickle charger is really neat they work automatically with 6 or 12 volt batteries, very simple to use .

I'll admit I'm the first one to be skeptical with cheaper stuff on here...but a buddy and I own a storage business for vehicles and golf carts etc...and these work surprisingly great .. they come with the pigtail you can install on the battery paystub xan use the jumper cable style clamps...both work very well...will definitely be ordering more..

Unclear when the unit is charging or not but is. Directions are unclear.
