Candles are work well. Remotes are great, especially with timer mode. Candles flicker just right. Size is perfect. Using them for jack-o-lanterns. Very happy.

Very nice illumination
I bought these for use building a memorial for my pets who lost their lives. Cremation remains/cedar boxes in the windows that were the favorite place to watch outside.Love them. Built-in timer switches on at sunset and off 2/4/6/8hrs later

GARBAGE!
Tried these immediately, with brand new Duracell batteries. ONE out of Six worked!! I tried switching that lid to other candles...some worked others didn't. My husband tried more new batteries a couple worked. We took the same working batteries out of the same working candles and reinserted them...now wouldn't work!!! Big nope for us!!! Going back!!! Also these are just plastic, not covered with real wax, my mistake in not reading description more closely. Just to save others same mistake. VERY disappointed!
