Can these lian li uni sl-infinity 120 fans be used as radiator fans?

I've done a ton of research on static pressure fans (what you want for coolers) and the sl-inf actually perform excellently in that regard. They are in the top 85-90% of best static pressure fans, and that is probably underselling them slightly. They are also amazing at simply moving air as case fans.

If I were to purchase two sets of these, would it be possible to use the y-splitter to power 3 front fans and 2 bottom fans with a single controller?

Yes and you wont even need the splitter.Im currently running 6 fans on one controller with no splitter.

Can you control a cluster in software other than L Connect like Asus Armoury with the controller? Like fan speed for cpu is different than the rest?

The 3 pack comes with a cable you can plug into the controller that plugs into a fan header and argb header of the motherboard so that you can control them through armoury create. You have to switch to "MB Control" in the L-Connect 3 software. Not sure how well the level of control would be in any other software other than L-Connect 3 though.

I am buying the 140mm fans size which don't have a connector. Is the connector in this 120mm kit compatible? How can I buy it?

Connector? That could mean so many things when talking about these, but if you're talking about the pinned connector that connects the fan to the controller or the mobo, then the answer is no, because they're different voltages, but if you actually meant the controller hub, since I can't figure out why you wouldn't have the pinned connector that comes with the fan, then the answer is yes, you can use one controller for either size.

Aesthetically pleasing but expensive

Aesthetically pleasing but expensive. Easy to chain all the fans together. Can get a bit loud if you have many of the fans.

Cracking fans.

Unfortunately I had to send these back as they wouldn't fit the bottom of the case,they work a treat though as already have these in it.

They cost a bit more but there worth it they look good run well and once you connect them together 1 power cable manages all the fans so less cables to hide as i said £30 for a fan delivery was just over 2 weeks

No fix

I bought the 120mm and x2 140mm the 120 works fine and is detectable in L3 connect. RGB lights come on at the start then when windows starts the lights go off no fix anywhere...and yes everything is updated BIOS, firmwear, windows, software etc. cant see a fix anywhere
