This was just as described and exactly what I was looking for. My daughter is autistic and a messy eater. I use a vinyl tablecloth but it still stains, especially tomato sauce. I ordered this and cut it to the shape of my table to cover her end of the table but like a placemat. It wipes clean, it’s clear so you barely notice it, plus it’s thick enough to protect the table when she bangs her cup down! This material stays in place it doesn’t move and the curled edges went away right away once I laid it flat for about 10 min. A lot of mats I looked at were silicone, which I don’t like because everything sticks to it. This solved my problem and best of all it’s available in many, many sizes. I’m going to see how well it wears and possibly order material enough to protect my whole table

This is a wonderful product! It is totally clear (see-through), as promised. I ordered two to be "permanent placemats" over my marble-topped table, so I could enjoy the natural beauty of the stone and not have to cover it up. It is not even noticeable as you walk by -- you see the entire marble top of my table. So happy with this!It arrives in a very tightly rolled tube (maybe tighter than needed), but not hard to open. Just be careful when cutting open the foil wrap it comes in so that you don't cut the mat. There is a little plastic odor, but not bad at all and most would not notice it. However, I aired my out for a few days in my garage and laid it across some items for the curl to flatten out.The edges of one of the mats immediately laid flat, but the other was still curling a bit. I just put a few heavy books around the edges for about a week and that did the trick.I recommend these for any surface you would like to protect. The thickness is (to me) perfect -- thick enough to stay flat, protect the surface against damage, and look invisible. Seems like it will last for a long time.

I ordered this product to cover our unfinished outdoor patio table to protect it from the elements. After receiving quotes for a pane of glass (+$600), I found this product for a tenth of the price. To my surprise the product came off the shelf the correct size for our table. The plastic sheet was slightly longer and wider than the measurements. The care label mentioned that this was intentional (0.2 inches for thermal contraction). Overall I am very happy with this product. It will be easy to wipe down, protect the table from the weather and still highlights the herringbone pattern inlay on our table top.

Thick and clear. I use for my desktop, computer, monitor, other items on top. Need to roll in opposite direction an leave sitting that way for a few days. Corners continue to curl a bit for a while. I have rolled it in the other direction, then placed heavy objects on the corners. After several months, with the corners weighted by various computer/desk items, it still curls very slightly, but it's OK to use.

Great quality, thick plastic looks like a piece of glass if you’re just looking at it. Measuring my table and looking for the size for a rectangle wooden kitchen table. Let me tell you, Measurements were spot on and fit my table perfectly. This seller does a great job at packaging the roll you get when you receive it. She also leaves you directions on how to spread out the plastic cover easily. I just added some heavy boxes on the edge of the table to straiten out the plastic once I laid it out on the table for a few hours, and worked like a charm. I definitely recommend this seller because the quality is top notch. You’re gonna love it I promise.

Recently painted an old wooden desk for my office and the top is black. I knew it would chip as I am sitting at it every day. I want to preserve it as best as I could and it be easy to clean. This fits perfectly and so far has not scratched. It also stays in place and bc its clear I can slide reminders or notes under it and they stay nice and neat. Its a pretty thick piece so I suspect the durability in the long term will be good.

They come rolled really tight, when it's unrolled it flattens out so nice. Heat resistant and easy to wipe off. Love them.I have one that I put under my pressing mat for sewing so that it doesn't disform my table it works great. It stays in place without sliding all over. Planning on buying another one for my Dining Room table in the future.
