Very good pan, arrived very quickly
Very good pan at a reasonable price, worked perfectly well, didn't stick, even on the fire. There is a factory anti rust coating on it which they advise you to boil water in it to remove but i found it wasn't enough and needed a scourer and an abrasive cleaner.Next time i'll try the ash and water paste trick to protect the bottom on the fire because it's a job to remove the soot. After washing i dry it 15 mins in the oven before oiling, it helps. Lemon juice removes the brown marks. It takes a little looking after which is fine as I don't use it every day. Plenty big enough size for 6, we had leftovers. Not flat enough for a ceramic hob.

Great Paella Pan, and great value!
Great Paella Pan, and great value. Simply clean with boiling soapy water for a few minutes, dry and then the important part: SEASON IT! .. to prevent it going rusty, and to also add a non-stick (/less-stick) coating. Do this using vegetable oil by browning and turning the pan in thin layers over a high heat (I used three burners simultaneously as mines a 55” pan!) and wiping off using kitchen towel. N.B. There’ll be A LOT of smoke!!The 2nd photo shows the cooked Paella (which was slowly turned/cooked over the three burners adding in the seafood towards the end), and then the 3rd shows the pan (after an all night soak on the hob) after having replenished the seasoning using the above process, but this time more selectively using one burner to ‘patch in’ & brown the areas needed.Do this after-use every time and the pan will gradually gain a better seasoned coating.

Not worth it
Food gets stick since minute one. It also rusts. Not worth it. Better buying a better quality one, maybe more expensive that will last more than two paellas.

Nice pan
Came really fast, but make sure you re season after use, as it gets a bit rusty.

Great paella pan.
Fantastic paella pan. Very happy with it. We seasoned the pan first as instructed by others to build up a resistance to rusting in the future and cooked with no issues at all. Cooked everything. Very evenly. Great item.

Great paella pan
Excellent paella pan - already had the bigger version which have used fir years over fitepit so knew what the quality was like. Good solid pan, cooks well and serves 8 easily.

If you like making paella, you're going to love this!
This gets tarnished very quickly, BUT that's the idea! Having puzzled over the setup (I tried to clean all the oil out!) it became evident that I was being a bit of a tool. Once underway, it blackens and starts to look like a "proper chef's pan" in one use - the resulting paella is superb (even if I do say so myself) and you can make a LOT with this. Great stuff!

Great Paella Pan
My family is from Spain and I have been cooking paellas and "arroces" ever since my grandmother in Alicante, Spain taught me how to over 35 years ago. I own various sized paella pans and burners to cook them on depending on how many people we're feeding. This is the largest pan in our arsenal. We purchased it for the large gatherings we have in the summer. It performs like a traditional paella pan should. It's made of plain polished steel (as opposed to the enamel covered ones or, God forbid, less durable non-stick surfaces). It's sturdy and the metal isn't as thin as some of the cheaper options out there. I was actually surprised at how economically priced this pan was considering the quality and size. To be honest, I have other pans made by this company so I sort of knew what to expect, but I was still surprised I could buy a pan this large at this price point. I gave it 3 stars for "Easy to Clean" but not because of any quality issue with the pan itself, it's just so big that it's hard to find anywhere indoors to clean it without manhandling it over your sink. Also, if you are authentic about your paella or arroz making, then you'll probably develop some of that wonderful caramelized rice at the bottom of the pan (socarrat) that is sort of a chore to clean up from anything but a non-stick pan (which I would not recommend). All in all this is a great paella pan for larger groups.

Excelente producto

I really like this brand of Paella
I own a couple different sizes of these paella pans as they are durable, they cook evenly and they look good hanging on a wall in our kitchen. Remember that this pan is "carbon steel" so you MUST clean it after you use it. (Not exactly afterward but don't just leave it in sink for a day or two as Carbon Steel rusts. Barkeepers Friend and a fine Steel Wool pad will become your friends. If you find a Paella that's a couple bucks cheaper, personally I'd walk away from that deal and buy this brand. I bought ours via Amazon but sold through Paellapans.com. They were incredibly helpful getting me off on the correct foot, as it was all new to me and they are the pros.Ummmmm.... makes me want to cook some paella for dinner tonight!
