Great Camera heavy appears to made of quality metal and plastic. The picture quality is great and the PTX function is what I needed. Having three way sound is extra for me at the location

It has a home position that it will go to (if setup) after a predetermined timeI can easily see my driveway and anyone coming to my front door.I preset several positions that the camera will point to with the touch of a screen/click of the mouseAfter ## (user changeable) seconds of me not adjusting the camera, it goes back to the monitor positionIt does not auto track people or movementThe mount is set for wall or ceiling, it does work mounted to a ceiling which would seem to be the ideal mount for this style of camera.I can easily monitor this with the REOLink App on my phone, tablet or from the REOLink NVR itself.

I purchased this camera as a PTZ for the front of my home. I was unable to mount it in the desired location due to the mounting bracket and the requirement for significant renovation to the desired mounting location. Changed location to rear of home in patio area made it much easier to install. Have identified multiple animals around the house including skunks. Camera does follow detected animals and people until they are out of view then we'll return to a user-defined monitoring point. Unit is susceptible to false alerts with fog and likely with heavy rain and snow but I haven't seen that yet. Is an excellent purchase for the money but does need better mounting options.

I own reolink cameras n some are great n some arent so good ...this one doesnt auto track worth a crap ...jumps around n doesnt return to home point no matter what i can walk in front of it this morning n it didnt detect me as a person...n was set to do so...its almost the same software as my other reolink cameras n they work this one is total crap....sorry reolink...u failed on this one...ive been a die hard reolink fan until this camera....

For the price, this camera is ok, but the audio is poor, tinny, hollow, echo's terribly and marginally usable. I've purchased multiple units of this model & this poor audio is not limited to a single camera. Reolink also needs to take a deep dive into their TCP/IP functionality. Cameras do not reliably connect for remote viewing either from the mobile app or Windows client. This persistent failure is not related to a particular internet provider, as I have tested across multiple vendors. When connected to the same WLAN, cameras will "generally" connect successfully using the mobile app but when viewing via the Windows client on another PC, there is a 90% failure rate. Multiple installations using NVR's or standalone cameras experience identical issues.... Remote access is hit & miss!!

Really nice Reolink product. Does exactly as it says. It tracks movement of desired objects like people. It will adjust both range and height to capture object with auto focus. Then no activity resets to Home position programmed. Nice feature is no out of range objects get past the camera as it will move with the object to keep it in view adjusting even height. Then it waits for the object to reappear before returning to Home position.Largest complaint? The audio microphone can not be adjusted for sensitivity. It is very sensitivity and will pickup faint noises near it or behind it even with physical object blocking noises. A whisper can be heard. Not a large issue and easily offset by the other great features it offers.

Uses either PoE -OR- a 12-v converter directly into a lead on the camera - The latter fact was not clear in the description.I'm very satisfied with the picture quality - but in the HIGH res mode, there are periodic frame drops - not too irritating though.I had a little trouble with motion detection settings - I might find a better balance of the various settings, but I am recording a lot of rain videos. ;^)I will buy another one - exactly the same model. That's a great endorsement because I use a lot of various brands and models.
