KnuKonceptz Karma Kable Twisted 8 Gauge Speaker Copper Wire OFC - Sold per 10' increments

I just received this speaker wire for my upgrade from 14 gauge to this 8 gauge and I am amazed this is well thought out and super heavy duty it's as thick as my 0 gauge wires and keeps everything looking tight and professional very nice product I'll be ordering more of this item soon

I FIGURED UP I NEEDED 10 FEET OF WIRE TO RUN MY INSTALLATION BUT ORDERED 12 FEET TO HAVE SOME WIGGLE ROOM. WHEN I RECEIVED MY PACKAGE A FEW DAYS EARLY I WAS ECSTATIC. BUT WHEN I OPENED THE PACKAGE I NOTICED IT LOOKED LIKE ATMOST 10 FEET. BUT I WAS LIKE THIS WILL CUT IT CLOSE, BUT SHOULD WORK. I PULLED OUT A TAPE MEASURE TO VERIFY AND WAS SURPRISED TO SEE IT WAS 8 FOOT 2 INCHES WAY TO SHORT, SO MAYBE THE REST OF MY WIRE WILL ARRIVE ON THE ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE. LUCKY FOR ME I AM INSTALLING 2X DUAL VOICE COIL SUBS AND GOT THIS FOR IN BOX AND FROM THE BOX TO THE SUB. SO WITH WHAT I RECEIVED I CAN DO MY INBOX WIRING AND HAVE TO BUY WIRE LOCALLY TO DO THE BOX TO THE AMP. UNLESS THEY SEND ME THE REST OF MY WIRE, BUT WITH IT NOT BEING 1 PIECE SO I CAN CUT WHAT I NEED I WILL PROBALLY NEED AN EXTRA FOOT TO TWO TO REACH THE AMP WITH 2X 2.5 FEET WIRES. WHICH WOULD HAVE LEFT ME 7 FOOT TO WIRE MY SUBS IN BOX WITH.Edit I emailed them and they replied a few days later and offered to replace the whole piece of wire, but cause I needed short pieces I offered to just accept 5 foot to make the runs that I had left from not getting it as 1 contentious piece. Very happy with the wire quality and how they handled the issue.

These are outstanding cables. They take a while to strip and prepare for the terminators. I put them in my vice to hold while I worked a razor cutter down the clear wrap. Make sure your spades or banana jacks accept 8 gauge wire. I was having issues with my new $250 speaker cables not sounding as they should. For $40 I though I would experiment with this 8 gauge wire. The difference using these were unreal. Bottom end tightened up, the harsh upper midrange was smooth, the sound stage opened up. I am in awe of the improvement. When someone says thicker, well made speaker wire doesn’t make a difference, unfortunately doesn’t have equipment revealing enough to hear that difference. I’m sending my $250 cables back this week. These are mind blowing. What a great purchase!

This cable is great. Take your time to prep the cable Use the correct tools I highly recommend getting the largest cable cutters you can get this cable is very thick. Use a new razor to strip the putter and inner insulation. Get the cable pants to dress it use heat shrink to seal it up. Make the job look like a professional did it! Sound quality was much better after.

I feel this is a fantastic product for the money. I combined this cable with the manufacturers banana plugs and cable boots. This product is wiring up my main front three amps which are 150 watt monoblocks. I was replacing older monster Cable speaker wire. There was an immediate improvement in the mids and highs. I actually ended up running the Odyssey setup on my Denon receiver to smooth it out. The wire is a bit much to handle because of the sheer thickness but take your time with it and it's unbelievably good. I ended up using an exacto knife to carefully strip the outer casing without hurting the inner wires. I would recommend this to anyone using a power amp to run their speakers I feel it's a bit too heavy to connect to an average receiver.

Way to big of a casing it's two 8 gauge wires twisted and wrapped in 0 gauge plastic. Very hard to work with and was unable to use my portion for my speakers cause once it's unasked the 85 aluminum 15 copper mix doesn't stay twisted sorry knu konceptz this is a failure

The outer jacket of this cable is pretty thick so don't expect a tight bending radius. The thick jacket also makes prepping the ends of the cable a bit of a challenge. I used an X-Acto knife for trimming the jacket as well as for stripping the ends of the wires. Just take your time, be patient, and slowly but surely you'll get it done. Because each cord consists of so many fine strands of wire, you also need to be patient if you're terminating them with banana plugs. I used the KnuKonceptz BFA-style plugs which worked quite well. I applied a dab of conductive paste to the stripped end and then gently twisted it to help "glue" all the strands together. Again, be patient and work in a well-lit area and you'll be fine. Overall I think it's a good product for the money.
