Rickey's World Famous Louisiana Hot Sauce - 12 oz

i love the sauce after getting a sample at a convention a while back, felt fear i was gonna run out until i found out that i could get it here. everything about it is great, good sturdy bottle and good content amount for the price. unfortunately the cap broke during its trip to my door, but the spill wasn’t too bad; just a couple of drops. there wasn’t enough padding, although they did have a lot in there but that’s just life for ya.it’s not too bad of a sauce. low heat, more flavor. it’s def one i reccommend to all my friends, especially those with low heat or spice tolerances.my favorite foods to put it on are eggs, chicken, and spaghetti.

After consuming this hot sauce, I was overcome with a powerful urge to submit fake Donkey Kong scores as world records. I did not like what I became in those few hours. I shopped around for flag ties and considered getting a mullet, all the while playing on MAME and denying I was using it at all.It also tasted bad.

This is much like Crystal or Louisiana brand hot sauce, only somewhat hotter and thicker, with less vinegar, and with a touch of garlic. If you're fond of those sauces, it might be a tad hotter than you prefer and are used to; I find myself using a little less. Some warehouse clubs have the gallon size at a very reasonable price. Works well to spice up a recipe, but again it may have a bit more heat than you expect -- though less than Tabasco.

Yea, we get it. Billy Mitchell is a scumbag. Really, he's tacky, self obsessed, narcissistic, a cheater, and seemingly an all around bad fella. But this sauce is DANK. As a chef, I took this into work because we have employee meal every day and everyone in the kitchen likes hot sauce. I was ready to rag on it because I figured, "What the hell could Bill Mitchell know about hot sauce?" Well, a lot apparently. Every cook, chef, server and dishwasher in the building loved it. I'm no hot sauce connoisseur, but this is a keeper for sure.

Watching the drama of his cheating saga on youtube with this sauce and something to good to eat is like a 4D experience. All kidding, the man knows his sauces.

There's not much flavor in it, think of a blander version of Tabasco or some other Louisiana style hot sauce. Disappointing.

l had somebody draw an analogy for me once that l always remembered. The top French pilot in World War l shot down 24 enemy planes. The top American pilot, you don't know his name, do you? Nobody does, but it's Eddie Rickenbacker. Shot down 26 enemy planes. The German Ace, the Red Baron. Everyone knows who the Red Baron is. That's 'cause he shot down 87 enemy planes. l mean, he was the best. There's just--There's a level of difference between food seasonings, and it translates into some hot sauces.It's sort of like the abortion issue.lf you're for Tabasco, you're a son of a gun.lf you're for Rickey's, you're a son of a gun.Uh, l'm not God. l don't have all the answers, and so l have to be careful how l share my opinions.All I can say is, Rickey's is THE BEST hot sauce I've ever eaten.
