NiSi - 49mm Lens Adapter for Ricoh GR IIIx – Aluminum Alloy Lens Accessories - Compatible with Circular Filter and Attach 49mm Thread and Replaces Ricoh GA-2 for Enhanced Camera Photography Experience

I bought this to help protect the Ricoh GRIIIX from dust and damage to its lens as well as to accept a proper ND filter. The GRIIIX has a low max shutter speed and the internal ND filter was not adequate to keep it from stopping down to 7.1 in bright conditions to maintain exposure at 100 iso. The NISI adapter keeps the camera relatively compact while allowing me to attach an adjustable ND filter as well as other diffusion filters when needed. It also provides some piece of mind to prevent dust and damage to the lens but time will tell if it can fully prevent dust from entering the GRIIIX.

Great product, fits nicely and does what i need, add filter mount 49mm to your ricoh, i use it mostly to keep dust out of the camera.

It works. It is a very very solid purchase. I bought it to use as a way to keep dust out of the GR sensor( we all know this to be an issue ). SO essentially, I bought it, a filter, and a hood. Doesn't make the GR back pocketable but it does work extremely well to keep out dust. I think the materials are solid and quality. Super easy to use. You just take the filter ring off and then add this to it. Everything works well, except the fit is not as snug as I want it. Let me put this out there, it doesn't fall off. It stays on. I just would have preferred it to be a little more snug. Edit/Update: I still hold the opinion that it could be a snugger fit, it kinda bugs me. But since purchased, I have not received any dust to the sensor and am very happy with the quality of the adapter. I added a B+W filter and hood to the front and works brilliantly.

fits griiix perfect and i attached a mist filter and works great. easy to take on and off

One of the things I dislike about point and shoot cameras is the lack of polarization. This works well with my filters.

It fits snuggly in the GR's bayonet mount and holds a 49mm filter. Exactly what I needed.

It fits ok, but after using it for a few months, it's not a very snug fit. Not sure if the OEM version would fit better, but using this with the wide angle lens (which is quite heavy), I am not comfortable with this holding the lens securely. These attach by fitting into a groove around the lens on the camera body, then rotating it until it "clicks" into place, but this aftermarket version doesn't click in very well. I use a piece of black electrical tape between this and the camera body to prevent any accidental movement. Otherwise it seems to be decent quality aluminum construction, and the threads for filters/lenses are smooth. Just worry a bit about the attachment to the camera body.

The NiSi adapter for the Ricoh GR IIIx is a hit. It's a nifty little add-on that lets you slap on 49mm filters without bulking up your camera. Solid build, great price, and you can even use the GT-2 lens with zero crop factor. If you're into trying out different filters, this adapter's a no-brainer for your GR IIIx. 👍

Sitzt sehr gut und sicher auf der Kamera. Optik gefällt mir auch gut und das Filtergewinde ist ebenfalls sehr gut verarbeitet. Bin sehr zufrieden.

Bought this lens adapter for my Ricoh GR IIIx and it fits perfectly. Solid build and works exactly as expected.

Fits well and serves to allow filters to protect the lens mechanism cos not weather sealed. Paired it with K&F concept variable ND and polarising filters - images still sharp.
