How many screws are provided & what is their length? My mirror is 14kg & has a backing of mdf which is 14mm thick, is this kit suitable?

hi, there are 6 x 15mm screws, 2 x 20mm screws and 2 x 35mm screws. The 15mm screws are for fixing the bracket to the mirror/painting and I found them to be adequate. The other screws in my opinion are totally inadequate and I did not use them. I have hung a mirror 100cm x 70cm and a picture 105cm x 95cm both quite heavy. I have plasterboard walls so I used M4 x 38mm HEAVY DUTY METAL PLASTERBOARD CAVITY WALL FIXINGS ANCHORS PLUGS (you need an anchor plug fixing gun, about £10). If you have plaster and brick walls I would use something like 2" No 10 wood screws and heavy duty rawl plugs. I used 2 sets of brackets for the mirror and 2 sets for the picture, the mirror has a strong frame so I fixed the brackets to the top edge of the frame and it has been absolutely fine. The frame of the picture was a bit weak and already had a wire for hanging fixed to each side of the frame so I fixed the two brackets to the wall and hung the wire over the two brackets and therefore I did not use the other halves of the hangman brackets on the picture frame. I have a large heavy mirror to hang 160cm x 92cm and I will use one of the methods above to hang it. Using two sets of brackets I think makes it a bit more stable for larger mirrors/paintings and also for me with plasterboard walls it spreads the load. I hope this helps

Can you tell me if i would be buying one or two hangers? The product description says two but the box contains section says 1x.

What you see are two brackets that fit together to make one hanger. One fits on to your wall and on on to your picture frame. They then slot together when you offer the frame up for hanging. If you are unsure, the company has a Youtube demo so as you can see how it works. The system basically does away with having to put hooks in to your frame then tie on piano wire or sting then drill out or fix a picture hanging hook to the wall. Hope this helps.

I only got 2 small screws and 2 medium would it still be strong enough to hold a large mirror? I only have one of these brackets?

The bracket is excellent however, it is only as strong as the weakest screw! You need to ensure that you use suitable screws ( 4mm x 40mm as a minimum ) and good raw plugs if going into brick

Description and images don't make sense above. Is the price for two sets of these, i.e. for two mirrors? Do they have three screw holes or only two?

Hi Chris. It's the price for hanging one mirror. Consists of two pieces that one of which fits to the wall whilst the other attaches to the mirror/picture. I can't remember how many holes and can't remove the mirror on my own
