I am 5'8, 255 and I usually wear a 20/22 and 44C, I'm apple shape, and I'm in my late 40s. The size 6X fit perfectly!The skirt has a lot of stretch, it could be tighter but I like it, and the length is great. The top, where do I begin, I love this so much! It zippers in front and has a ribbon corset back. This is not the top that you would use to cinch your waist. This is strictly for looks only. It is a fake leather material and will definitely stay on you. The top is held on you by the fit around your waist, the strap around your neck is just for looks, however it doesn't come undone. You need to lift the strap over your head to remove the top. It comes with a G-string and the skirt is a little see through, so if u are wearing this out you need tights or leggings underneath. The material is not hot or heavy so it is fine for a costume, the renaissance faire or at home extracurricular activities .Hubby loves it!

I would have been happy paying 3 times as much for this costume. That's how impressed I am with it!First, this is a REAL corset, with REAL heavy duty hardware. This is not a costume-quality, pull-over the head, no-support, faux corset. (I know, I've purchased a few custom-made corsets direct from Vollers England for over $300 each!) While there is no hard-core stainless steel boning in this corset (which you wouldn't want anyway unless you're used to wearing corsets because they're hella-uncomfortable), everything else is there: beautiful sturdy quality fabric, sturdy boning stitching, fully lined, sturdy back corset laces with heavy-duty eyelets and a matching (p)leather modesty panel that's also lined! I'm literally dumb-struck.It's actually front fastening with seriously sturdy brass closures, and back lacing that can be cinched with full-force, if you want. (My husband can be brutal lacing up my corset, I think he likes to see how tight he can make it before I pass out! LOL) but this garment can handle even that brutality.It's totally adjustable for any chest size and degree of cleavage you wish to show. The skirt is equally as well made and not a crappy pull-on but, has a high-quality super sturdy zipper, fully lined etc. Even the little bolero jacket is lined and well-made. But for the life of me, I can't figure out why they included the thong!! LOLI purchased a 2XL because I was worried about the top. I'm 5'10 and weigh about 155 lbs with 36DDD boobs. The corset covers my chest and can be cinched tightly around my 29" waist without everything spilling out on top. Yes, there's cleavage and some top boob showing but it's sexy, not slutty. More revealing than I would wear on a date but definitely not too scandalous for Halloween. Loosen the laces if you want complete modesty (but then again, you'd probably go with a different costume if you didn't want a sexy look to begin with.)Hope this helps anyone who's thinking about buying. Also, I paid full price and I'm not getting anything for writing this review. I'm just a real person who's very impressed and happy with my purchase. Beautiful work. However, size is very small. I am an 16/18 and I ordered 2x but it was still too small. Even when I expanded it. I reored a 5X and it fit perfect.

I had high hopes when I ordered this based on the reviews. I was not disappointed. I was very happy with this purchase. The top is a corset however I didn’t tighten as much as I could’ve for fear of ripping the zipper. It is a 2 piece outfit and the skirt is a lil short. I just added a crinoline petticoat ( black) underneath and it really added a wow factor. The skirt also has a zipper which I didn’t realize till after I slinkied myself into it. For what I paid I was very much impressed and it really didn’t take but a few added extras and it worked great for Halloween. Definitely recommend! Make sure to check the sizing chart because these are Asian sizes!!!

The shirt that came with this ensemble seems too small and the shirt didn’t have a size attached to it as did the skirt and the vest. I should have ordered the second-largest size available. Due to the event approaching in a few days, I don’t have time to wait for another costume to arrive.

Wife picked this up as a costume piece for a weekend faire. It came the night before so we didn't have any time to switch to anything else if this didn't fit or had problems. Unfortunately for us, it had a problem. The zipper was trash. The teeth were falling out immediately with no actual use. Wife got her skin caught in it the first time trying because of that. Luckily a trip to Walmart to buy a replacement zipper saved the day. Other than that, the size and fit was fine for her. We did buy a much larger size than she typically wears. She already is an H cup so she always has a hard time finding tops that fit at all. So we went with a 6XL when I would normally have bought her something much smaller. Glad we did. Ended up the right size for once. As for the look, it was nice. The leather parts look plastic/fake but it wasn't too bad. Besides the bad zipper, everything else felt durable and well made enough.

My waist is 31-32 inches, and I ordered a Large which says 28-29 inches on the size guide. It fits me perfect without having to mess with the strings on the back! Great quality fabric and very sturdy. Will be great for RenFaire.AND—my favorite part about corsets is they make your b00bs look sooooo good. Not from the side lol, but from the front they’re poppin!

This is an adorable costume. It's super cute and flattering. I got tons of compliments at Halloween parties. The skirt pieces is surprisingly stretchy. The corset was well constructed, though the "leather" accent pieces are super cheaply made. They are cute for now, but if I use this costume repeatedly, they'll probably fall apart. I think I could remove them and the costume still works though. The base construction is really good.
