It fitted notfor me as I know little about sewing machine

Far better than the original Viking 423 plastic shank. I bought this when handing over the machine to a friend because the replacement Viking plastic correct shank broke immediately just like the one I was replacing.the metal is less prone to fatigue.

My older sewing machine needed the screw in foot, these work out quite expensive and are time consuming to change. This adaptor allows the use of more modern foot which attaches by claw mechanism. This saved money as I bought a box of new types of foot ( zipper, zip zig, buttonhole etc) for the price of one screw in foot. Saves time to swap between feet and now use it permanently on machine. Appears flimsy so unsure how long it will last ( time will tell) but for price of adaptor and reduced cost of modern foot type this is cost effective. Particularly useful for those with arthritic hands and older machines.

Firstly the thing to note is that this is only the adapter needed to attach a snap on foot to a sewing machine. But as such it’s perfect. I use an old hand crank Singer sewing machine from the 40’s and wondered if this would allow me to use snap on feet and the good news is it does! It seems well made and although it doesn’t attach in exactly the same way as a standard foot it attaches via the standard thumb screw and is secure in use on my machine. My old Singer seems pleased and is now getting more use!

This part for my Brother sewing machine was just perfect. Value for money.

My machine is an old singer Melodie 70 and most feet I bought don’t fit. This is a great little adaptor and fits my machine so now any feet wil. Fit. I highly recommend this little beauty

description says fits ‘brother’ and i have that machine and when i tell you it does not fit. it doesn’t even stay up nevermind work. absolutely waste of money
