Sure,its inserted into the front of the barrel and the laser activates with sound so as long as the action makes a loud enough sound when you dry fire it should work in any .22 rifle.

Q: Will this work with a 300 weatherby magnum?

Only the .30 cal model, which you probably already know that much. Just make sure it sits flush at the end of the barrel. I’m not a fan of this type of bore sight but I had to buy one for my .22LR rifles and it works great. I imaging with the weatherby you’d wanna sight in at 100yds or more but I used mine to get on paper at 50yds, and like I said, it did the job.
