The oil works
It works, get it. The smell is earthy not overpowering the smell does fade within 5mins. I suggest putting on the oil after a hot shower/bath when your pores are open.

Pleasant to use.
I've never heard of Yellow PlaI oil so was looking forward to trying it. My feet hurt almost every night due to bunions and other arthritic problems. I rubbed some of this on and really enjoyed the fragrance as well as the easy application. The bottle has a plastic stopper in it with a hole in the middle so that only a small amount comes out at a time. The scent smells like any good liniment and so was very enjoyable to smell as it helps clear the nose as well as helps with your problem area. The bottle is pretty small but a little goes a long way since it is an oil. It did make my feet feel better so I will be using it faithfully.

Effective massage oil
This oil is largely derived from a member of the ginger family, zingiber cassumunar, though one with less of a 'hot' profile. It's effective both for pain relief and a few other things according to what reading I've done on it.The other ingredients listed on the box are spearmint and borneol, the latter of which being a common constituent in perfumes and a few other things. But that only accounts for 40% of the content, the bottle itself also mentions menthol. The oil smells strongly of mint and camphor spirits, though, apparently borneol smells similar to camphor so that may be what I'm detecting, but it may ALSO contain camphor, which I know to be effective on muscle aches and bruises.Rubbing it into a joint or ache results in a fairly immediate cooling sensation that lasts a very long time. The oil is difficult to wash off your hands and the smell still stick there for quite awhile too.It does seem to help with pain a bit but that may just be the rubbing, or even the mint, whatever kind it may be, borneol also purportedly has a menthol-like sensation when rubbed into the skin, so it's probably a multi-part effect.I do question what else is in the oil but I've not experienced anything negative from it so overall I think it's pretty alright.

A nice warming massage oil.
I haven't used massage oils or muscle creams much so my experience is limited but I found this Chang Thai Massage Oil to be rather nice. It is a thin oil and it absorbs quickly, not so quickly that one can't get it spread out well but it doesn't leave an oily film. It has a fairly strong Spearmint smell and it has a warming sensation that starts quickly and last for quite awhile. I really think it could help a lot with sore or cramping muscles and it would also be fine for general relaxation. The bottle isn't very large but since one doesn't need to use much, I think for most people it will last quite a long time. All in all, while I wasn't sure what to expect, I am very happy with effects and overall quality of this massage oil.
