Absolutely worth it!
I hated the two month wait on this because I have most of the big stuff completed before I got this and anything I needed help with I got online. BUT that is truly the only complaint I have for this wonderful guide! My hardback copy came in perfect condition; no dents in cover or bent pages. The content of this book is accurate from what I can tell (I've been pouring over it for 2 days now) and they really do a great job of giving you all the details in how to find/do a quest in as straightforward as one can expect from such a huge and complex game. What really helps is the copious use of the map coordinates to help me find exactly and precisely what I'm looking for in game. There are clear and concise map keys and everything is easily labeled so you won't get lost hopping between pages to match what you're looking for.One of the main complaints I heard the most was the the picture quality was horrible and, for me personally, I find that this couldn't be further from the truth. Yes I did find a couple pretty dark pics of some of the monsters that look like they copied them straight out of the game but I could still easily differentiate between them and the others they were comparing them to. I found that all of the pictures have a very sharp enhanced look to them which I loved because you can see every little detail despite the pictures being so small. Another compliment I heard was about the lack of a pull out map poster for the game and to that I say I'm not really sure how they would do that with this game. BOTW's map had 2 sides to the same map illustrating 2 different completion objectives (shrines and towers on one and all Korok seeds on the other). They would have had to have given 2-3 maps to be able to cover all 3 sections of the map ie, sky, land and the depths. While I miss the poster and hope they include one in the next guide with a dlc explanation the atlas they provided in the back will work well for me.This book covers anything and everything you could hope for in a game guide book! I'm also very grateful that there is still a company out there that is still willing to make and publish a guide book for games. It's great that I can go online for somethings but usually I have to sit through 20mins of a 30-45min video just to see the 1 thing I need to find out to got forward in game. I just love knowing this book is right there beside me, ready to be picked up at a moments notice and with a quick scan I can see what I'm missing. A book like this would have been REALLY helpful for Pokemon Arceus and Snap, but I digress.I truly hope everyone enjoys this book as much as I have!

A Necessarily, Comprehensive Massive Guide for a Massive Game
An item of this nature is definitely necessary to with a game that is as large and complex at The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. I know I would have been lost at several junctures without something like this at my fingertips. The guide is quite thorough and I've found that, for the most part, I haven't needed to consult outside sources about questions I have for the game. Plus, it's ad. free content and I don't have to worry about being tracked when I play the game which are two huge advantages that a physical game guide such as this continues to have over it's digital counterparts.I do wish the guide contained some official game art. That was always a nice feature that game guides back in the day had before digital source material was so readily available. Seeing how there's no DLC planned for the game, players don't have to worry about the material in this guide going out of date either which continues to be an argument against physical media of this nature. I would recommend this official guide to anyone playing the game.Piggyback remains a master of their craft which as is indicated by their masterfully crafted guide to this guide. That is good since they're about the only one left releasing physical game guides these days.

A Love Letter To Fans
The critiques on the book having the same content whether it's paperback or hardcover are valid. The hardcover version is just so darn nice. The two ribbons included are a very nice touch and make the guide appear just that much more elegant sitting on a coffee table. As for the content, I can't recommend this guide enough. I played through Tears of the Kingdom at launch and hit a difficulty curve that was not very appealing and thus made me stop playing, similar to me trying Breath of the Wild before getting the guide. After getting this guide, I bravely started a new game (and forfeit the 20+ hour save game that I had previously), and I have not looked back since. The singular section which makes the book worthwhile in my opinion is the "Companion" portion of the guide, where each "beat" of the main story is dedicated to 1-2 page spreads highlighting Important Places, Quests you should should have your eye on and tackle at that part of your adventure, tips and tricks for various elements of the game that you will probably have encountered at that stage.. and most importantly, the target levels for your hearts, stamina, and gear level. The difficulty curve I hit when I first played the game blind was because Link was not leveled up half as high as he should have been.. I was hitting the main campaign too hard and not venturing off on as many side quests or unlocking more shrines to be prepared for the enemies I was encountering. This Companion section of the guide eases you into each section with minimal spoilers at all, advises you how many shrines you should tackle, but doesn't tell you which ones.. how many hearts you should have.. what your stamina should be - before you move on.. It acts as a "guide" (shocker!) and not an "answer key" -- and I love that. The writers encourage you from the first page to play the game the way you want to play it and only turn to the guide pages when you need them - it's the rewarding part of playing a game like BOTW and TOTK, and they embrace that.Well done to all involved. A beautiful treasure which compliments an incredible sequel.

Awesome!
This guidebook is awesome! It covers everything in the Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. The book is hardback and very thick. It's very detailed and has lots of pictures and maps that follow the game from beginning to end. The downside of it is that the print size is so small. I need a magnifier to read it. Other than that, it's a must have for any Legend of Zelda gamer.
