Are the edges finished or are they sharp?

They are finished but it's very flimsy, hope that helps

Would the panels be strong enough to use as a rabbit run?

They are plenty strong enough to keep rabbits enclosed. Unless your rabbits have files for teeth.

Would this do for a dog run

Good Afternoon Thank you for your email. These panels are made from a 2.5 mm thick, 12 gauge wire which would be strong enough to use for a dog run. We would recommend securing the wire panels onto wooden stakes placed at the end of each panel using U nails, to help to create a strong dog proof barrier. Value for money

Forget rolls, buy these.

These are far superior in comparison to flimsy mesh rolls and way stronger. I used them to extend the height of my fencing to keep out foxes. I even used one of the panels freestanding (like a gate) to block the alleyway. Very pleased with this product, worth waiting for the delivery.

Perfect for chicken runs

Good product.

I used 4 sheets of the mesh to make an 8 x 4 rabbit run held together with cable ties with a 4 x 4 opening top.I am surprised how sturdy the run is considering that these are the only materials used.
