It works heron hasn't been back since I put it in my fishpond

Whilst this flimsy “Christmas Tree” like item looked impressive, with it’s “evil eye” on a silver ball, it proved defective (leaky) and ineffectual. Our predatory heron ignored it from two feet away on Day 1 and promptly noshed my biggest Shubunkin! It also leaked and by Day 3 had practically submerged. I have had to resort to a few pence worth of garden-netting. Sigh

Fish didn’t get eaten which must mean something. Looks a bit weird though 😂

Great quality, easy to set up.Looks good - almost cool - in the pond, moving around in the breeze.Very shiny, and quite menacing with those yellow eyeballs.But after less than two days the heron was back, picking out our poor remaining traumatised, delicious goldfish.Herod the Heron was standing surprisingly near the disco eyeball, not batting an eyelid. He is very, very determined to have the fish and we think he’s had at least ten.I don’t use the word hate lightly, but I love our goldfish and I HATE that heron, even if he is hungry.The ball will stay in the pond: it is worth trying to keep other herons away

Simple but effective way to keep Heron out of your pond.This globe with an eye on it certainly does the trick I watched a heron circle above my koi pond as in came in lower it all of a sudden changed direction and was gone.I really could hardly believe what I had seen I was all ready to go out with my brush shaft to chase the heron off.This simple inexspensive globe is well worth the money.

So been in about three hours when the heron returned moved around the pond and grabbed a fix that was swimming and when it did it grabbed the ball and it pulled it and the fish out of the pond!!! So not convinced he was put off by the ball at all!! Total waste of money!

Seems to work for me, have not seen any herons around my pond since putting these in (I bought 2 as have a large pond)

Not been in long before it started to tarnish appears the coating is coming off the inside and since getting this, Heron decoys and balloon eyes lost 6 fish so now we have a net over the pond.
