So comfortable even for a short person.
I'm 5ft tall. The world is not made for adults my size, but this chair is great. I feel in control in it and comfortable. There's a little headrest that's adjustable so it's actually comfortable! I never feel like I have to struggle to get my feet on the ground. I like to sit with one leg under me while the other is on the ground gently rocking me. Very relaxing. The way it's designed sitting down in it feels a bit weird. You can't really feel it behind you and its lower than an average chair. You just kind of sit and trust that the chair will catch your butt. So far it always has.Setup takes 30 seconds max (I never actually timed myself, it's probably less) and taking it apart is a bit faster.2 main complaints:1. The cup holders are nice, but built into the cloth body of the chair. So, if you have an open mug of coffee and you swing a bit there's a high chance it will spill.2. There's a helpful guide on putting the chair together built into the bag. All of the parts are connected by bungee chord, so it's really not necessary after maybe the 1st use. I wish there was a guide on how to put the chair away! Taking it apart is easy, but when I put it into the bag it never fits as nicely as when I first got it.This is a splurge for a chair, but I love it and plan on having it forever.Warnings:The metal parts the chair rests on do move then I swing, which I assume is intentional. But, this chair has something like a $250lb weight limit, and it definitely seems like the chair can't handle larger weights and would start ripping. Hopefully they make a version for heavier folks eventually. It's not the easiest thing to get out of. If you struggle to get out of hammocks or very low deep chairs, this might not be the chair for you.

Star gazing made easy!
Love that this is so quick and easy to set up and disassemble! Very comfortable for sitting, rocking and laying back. It's a little disconcerting when you sit down in it because it's pretty low to the ground. Think beach chair but slightly higher. Really appreciate being able to use on uneven ground. Spendy but worth it IMO.

Perfect for a Music Fest!! 😎
Great chair!! Folds up nice!!Sits low!! Great for the beach or watching an outdoor show!!Allows for sitting somewhat level like looking at a stage or you can lean back to look at the stars! Good stuff!

Maybe not for small framed persons- Excellent design though
I appreciate the function of the stargazer and the construction is excellent. I am a small framed, lightweight person and I found the back to be too tall and/or the seat to be too low. I think if the seat didn't sink so far down and/or the back is lower where you feel like you have more control of the reclining function it would have been a great fit. The back is very tall and it kind of envelops you like a hammock chair would; it is a very comfortable chair. I believe this would be perfect for taller and/or larger framed men and women. I ended up returning because I was hoping for a camping chair for all around use. If I had a use for a lounger in addition to a regular camping chair I would have definitely kept this. Also would be first in line for the smaller/kid version! Highly recommend the company for quality and excellence in design.

Worth the money!
This is so comfortable. Easy to set up and small size for storage. We bought a cheaper one initially, but returned it and spent the extra for this one.

Good, but not great.
Definitely comfortable. But after a few uses, it becomes less comfortable. The straps that allow you to recline become warped. It's pretty disappointing for an otherwise perfect camping chair.

Not only stargazing but beach going
I bought this for star gazing. But ended up using it more on beach trips. There is nothing like relaxing and swinging on this chair while listening to the waves on a summer day at the beach under a canopy. Dried quickly, easy to put together quickly and breakdown and store. Once you get the hang of it, you can get it back in the bag pretty easy and it's lightweight for carrying. Not sure I would actually buy a chair this expensive for the beach, but it was a beautiful experience this summer dozing at the beach, reading my book or just sitting and chatting.
