I use one of these on my zero water 40 cup 5 stage pitcher because the plastic spigot started leaking. This thing is made of metal, easy to assemble, and has not leaked yet. It is also quite firm when using the handle and the rubber pieces provide a tight seal. As of this writing, I would recommend the product and if you have a similar water device, replace the plastic spigot with this.

I noticed there were some other recent reviewers who had the same issue.Original: The seal is tight so it’s not leaking but the spigot doesn’t seem to close all the way so there’s just a constant drip. Will try the replacement.

The first spigot leaked so I had to send it back for a replacement. Second works great. One demerit for poor quality control (cf. two spigots).

I actually never thought a spigot on my sun tea jar could go bad, but they do and mine did. The little rubber pieces got so hard and wouldn't work correctly any longer. Finding them on Amazon was a perfect answer and how well made they are was great too. I now have an upgrade to my favorite sun tea jar, is a very happy ending to a well made product. Love this find. ❤

The spigot looked nice and well made. It installed on my bottle easily. But be very careful, the threads are extremely sharp. I cut both my thumbs trying to thread the nut on and off again because the spigot leaked!!! When I filled the bottle half way with water the spigot leaked at a rate of about a drop every second! The silicone seal to the bottle was sealed nicely, but the spigot would not shut off completely! Drip….drip….drip….! I am returning it and I will buy from a different brand. Too bad, looks nice, but it must work correctly and they should dull the threads!!!

I was pleased to find this was a perfect fit for replacing my old faucet, which started leaking. I didn't think I would find a perfect replacement.

What's not to like? Well made stainless, seals excellent, easy install, screen filter. I used for a tea dispenser from a gallon plastic jug rather than purchase a sun tea dispenser. If doing something similar don't forget to loosen the lid or drill a small vent hole in the lid to prevent a vacuum stopping flow. I'm a happy camper. Great value.
