Great
I recently purchased the FREESEA Aquarium Fish Tank Heater, and it has been a fantastic addition to my aquarium setup! This 50W submersible heater is specifically designed for small tanks, and it’s perfect for maintaining the right temperature for my betta fish and other aquatic friends. One of the standout features of this heater is its adjustable temperature external controller. Setting the desired temperature is a breeze, and the clear display allows me to monitor it at a glance. I’ve noticed that my fish are much more active and healthy since I started using this heater, which I attribute to the consistent temperature it maintains. The design of the heater is compact and sleek, making it easy to fit into my 1-10 gallon tank without taking up too much space. It’s also submersible, which means I can place it exactly where it’s needed for optimal heating. The installation process was straightforward, and I appreciated the included suction cups that keep the heater securely in place. I was also impressed by how quickly the heater warms up the water. It doesn’t take long to reach the desired temperature, and I feel confident that my fish are comfortable and safe. The heater has built-in safety features, such as over-temperature protection, which provides additional peace of mind. What I love most is its versatility; this heater is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater tanks, making it a great option if I decide to diversify my aquarium in the future. The quality of the materials used feels solid, and I expect it to last a long time. Overall, the FREESEA Aquarium Fish Tank Heater is an excellent choice for anyone with a small aquarium. It offers reliable heating, easy temperature control, and peace of mind for fish owners. I highly recommend this heater for keeping your aquatic pets happy and healthy!

Great heater
This product works well. It’s small and heated the water quickly and keeps the temp. I am using the heater for a turtle habitat.

Great heater!
I hate the heaters that say they will keep the temp a constant 78 degrees. Not one I have does this. With this one, I love that I have control of what I set my tank at. I can adjust if necessary.

Great little heater.
Heater works well and is very efficient. I have a 5gal Betta tank with some live plants and betta in it. Its an office tank and set up with plants that would tolerate not being heated. Since setting up the tank I moved into a new position and part of new my office is exposed brick walI, which makes it harder to maintain the temperature. I was looking for something smaller since my tank is small and prefer submerging heaters. I also didn't want to spend a ton of money on it if possible. Since adding this I have noticed my betta is more active and the plants are growing much quicker. Temperature rises quickly to setting and maintains steadily with no adjusting from me. The only negative I would have would be that every 3 or 4 days the thing the sections cups release and I have to stick it to the side of the tank again. However my tank is round and I'm unsure if this is playing into the issue. Instead of having to worry about it coming free and floating to the top of the water I was able to add a small binder clip to the top of the cord which keeps it down in the water if it releases. Again I am unsure if it is due to my tank being round and not flat. Overall this is a great little heater for a small tank!

Works well, but be careful when it dies
I owned and loved this heater for about a year and a half. It heats well, and consistently. Generally is pretty close to accurate with the temperature readout (mine read about 1 or 2 over what my regular thermometer read most days). HOWEVER when it goes, chances are good it will go out with bang. The last week or two I noticed that it was heating hotter than usual. (I had it set to 80 and it was getting up to 84-85) I realized that at some point the temp had been raised somehow? I assumed it was just some weird auto feature from when I had shut it off and back on for a water change? Switched it back down to 80, and it was fine all weekend. I glance at the temp every day. This morning I woke up and it read HH and my tank was over 95F! So I immediately unplugged it and worked on slowly lowering the temp. Which is to say, I would not trust to leave this as the only thermometer in your tank, and make sure you are checking it daily. It WILL die eventually, as all heaters do, and unfortunately with mine it didn't die by shutting off, it died by trying to boil my fish. (everyone survived don't worry)

It's a Yes!
I have purchased several aquarium heaters in my time. This one has been the best one so far. I love that you can control the thermostat temp and it digital, easy to see. I recommend.
