So light and comfy
What I like most about this is they are so light. So nice to walk in. I bought this in spite of a very useful point made by another reviewer about the 1.5 inch hole in the heel and how things might get inside it, but I expect this helps to reduce weight. It is no doubt a fault and the space could have been filled up with something very light. I could do that myself but I fear it will look suspicious going through security at an airport. Inside the shoe where the heel rests is made of a different material, a bit like gel, which stops jarring of the heel. Some thought has gone into making these shoes comfortable and it works. These shoes are wide with rounded toes, so all round it is very comfortable. The leather is good quality and having worn all kinds of shoes, I feel certain the leather, the way it has been treated, will retain its shine. You can tell a gentleman by the shine on his shoes....so goes an old saying, so I, wearing these, can fool a lot of people! Unlike many pairs, these have metal eyelets for the laces. Not only does this protect the leather round the holes, it helps to tighten and loosen the laces easily. Sometimes when I see shoes without metal eyelets, I think they have been made not to last too long...deliberately.All in all, nice pair of shoes. I just hope they last long enough for the money. Hush Puppies, so I trust they will.

First Shoe Purchase Online
I was worried that these shoes may not fit as I believe I am somewhere between 44 and 45 size, depending on the maker. However, I was delighted to find they fit excellently and as are as comfortable as the ones I bought in the USA some years ago and which had finally given up the ghost., having been worn most days.The delivery was almost immediate.I now feel more conifident in buying shoes online.

So far so good
Very comfortable, first pair of shoes I've had in about 5 years that fit perfectly right out of the box and haven't caused any blisters or pain anywhere - instantly more comfortable than the ones they replaced. Yet to see how well they wear but they seem relatively robust.

Great comfy footwear.
Normally when I buy new shoes they need to be worn in so for the first day or so hurt a bit.Never the case with these, can slip them on and they are as comfortable as my trainers.

Had these shoes previously and knew they would be very comfortable. Excellent value for money. Not sure why they decided to create the "gap" in the heel of the shoe sole. A bit quirky but does not detract from overall quality.
