Its seem like a draft version not quite finished.
I have mixed feelings with this book. There are mistakes in the book, some of which are unforgivable such as first tuning image shows G and C pegs the wrong way round. It does have some good informations on the first half of the book like chord charts, how to read tab, strum, play arpeggios and some musical theories. It missed out palm muting though. The technique videos only shows the motion without spoken explaination, you need to look back in the book for it. It would be much easier if there are spoken instructions explaining at each step. The biggest let down is the music/songs part. After teaching you all the techniques it only give you the chords, strum direction and words. There are no beat count, tab/melody. You can't tell the timming of the strum, if it meant to last half beat, one beat or two? The double quick down/up strums and single long strum sometimes look the same as spacing is too close. It fully depend on how well you know the song in order to play. If you don't know the song, you will need to find the song on YouTube. The audios provided are just the strumming sound, there are no beat counting, no vocal singing and no melodies, which I find it's hard to follows and easily get lost as there is no land marks or visual to remind you where you are. Some songs also sound a bit off like "Happy birthday" I think it meant to be G7 not G.This book is good if you just want to strum some nursery songs to a toddler considering you already have some experience in playing but it is not giving kids good start from fresh beginner. I would suggest adding full musical notes & tabs of the melody and more clear strum pattern showing what happen at each beat. And support video need metronome sound and/or vocal backing track. Unfortunately I will return this copy in it's current form.
