Farming Simulator 17 Platinum Edition - PlayStation 4

This game provides a very real sense of what farming actually involves. I know I had no idea before I started playing it. I used to think you just threw seeds on a field and waited for the crop to grow and then harvest it, that's it. But there is so much more involved. I am learning a great deal about what it means to be in the farming business. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the farmers out there - the equipment that you need for particular crops has got to be a bank buster at times. Not to mention the upkeep of the fields and trying to make a profit and stay ahead as much as possible. I always see tractors cultivating or harvesting late into the evening coming back from Houston and I would wonder, why are they are out so late? Now I understand why. This gives a whole new meaning to having a farm and maintaining it. It is definitely not a project that you can do without helpers every now and then. I love the addition to the game with the animals. That keeps the game interesting and brings a lot of realism to the game. The missions are fun too and help you to become familiar with the types of machinery used for various crops. That's what I started doing first because I had no clue. I enjoy harvesting the most. I harvested every field I could find on the map and made a few buddies with the other farmers. That helped me pick up my speed a little too in getting that chore done along with some extra dough.Anyway, I don't want to give away too much but this game is definitely hard to put down. I look forward to playing it every day. For the creators of the Farming Simulator games - absolutely great idea! Keep'em coming!

This game is great, love the estancia lapacho estate, the only thing i don't like is how long it takes to plant and harvest the sugarcane, other than that i love this game.What i don't understand is why the pc versions of games have alot more to choose from. why can they not fix it where they both are equal :-?

My 10 year old loves this game! We discovered a money cheat in the mods and he is literally a billionaire in the game, which he loves because he can buy anything he wants. I don’t think he plays so much for the farming as he does for all the cool equipment and customizable cars and trucks!

Great game overall but what really disappoints me is the fact that your limited with mods and you don't have a lot to choose from , it seems like PC players have every feature of he game but console is limited I paid 40$ for limited features.😑

My 16 year old loves this game and plays it for hours. I've had to set a timer for him. Lol!

I bought the 2015 game and played for hours. This version is so much different. Not really a fan, but I might get into it later.

Item arrived and it was not the Platinum edition as was advertised, to upgrade would be another $20 and for that I would have just purchased new

My son loves this game. I like that he can learn some business strategy and have fun at the same time!
