I have a long history of specifying Soss invisible hinges for commercial design projects. This was the first time I used them on a project at home, and my wife and I were extremely pleased by the quality of their design and function.

These are just very slick completely invisible hinges. I used four on a folding walnut tabletop for an RV. The top is only 5/8 thick and these thin versions slotted in just perfectly. I drilled and routered the holes, with a simple fence on my hand router, practicing a bit on some scrap. Takes some care but not that bad.

Nice hinges, good installation manual. They are a bit fragile at this size and after 'tweaking' them during the fitting/installation process, they have a little slop to them. Overall, I would still buy again.

I have used Soss hinges for over sixty years. They never disappoint. These went to repair a dining room table where the original screws had stripped out and the Soss hinges had been lost. Once the screw holes were repaired, the new hinges fit like new construction and functioned perfectly.

Exactly what the title says, too much play. The cabinet that I built will need a different kind of hinge now, because of the play (or looseness of the hinge) sags by about a 1/16 of an inch, and it’s not a heavy door. Not happy with this at all.

These hinges are WAY too expensive for 25% of my order to be useless. One hinge will not fully open. Tried WD-40 as recommended on the Soss website & that made no difference at all in how far the hinge opened. My fault for not checking every hinge upon receipt & assuming that hinges this expensive would actually open & close properly.

Product was as defined. Good price. Came with instructions.
