Had an aftertaste

Like the real fruit, but chips.

I liked these much more than I expected. They are hard and thick. They taste fruity yet savory at the same time. They’re a bit on the plain side, but have just enough flavor to keep them interesting. Since they’re a bit savory, I thought at times they could use a bit of salt or spices, but then figured they’re probably better off just as they are. There is a fruity taste. It surprisingly reminds me a bit of a fruit I don’t like. Nectarines? Yet, in this format, I did like the fruity taste. I ate about two servings worth, which is only 120 calories per serving. It really filled me up. So I figure I can get an enjoyable snack for 240 calories that can fill me up. I’m not saying this is as healthy as eating fruit, but it has to be less harmful than a pure junk food snack. I’m just a little put off by the price. 12 dollars for one small bag seems like a lot of money. I already looked these up online at the local supermarkets and the price is much less. Of course, these are the real deal. Straight from Vietnam. And frankly, I’ve never tasted these before. I have no true basis for comparison. But I do really like these. And found myself a new snack.

I don't have a means of obtaining jackfruit in my area, so having these tasty dried fruit pieces on hand is ideal! I simply love jackfruits, and these chips are full of flavor and enjoyable to eat. They start off very crunchy and crispy, but eventually soften in the mouth and are a delightful snacking experience.The taste and freshness of these chips is excellent, as is the quality of the fruits. These do have a slightly oily feel to them, but not enough to make my hands greasy. These chips are so hard. If you are older this snack might not be a good choice.
