Solved my LE on my LG!. The Hall Sensor failed. It was easy to install on my top loader model WT 1101 CW.Note: when putting washer on its back, support the middle so the hose inlets do not get damaged or the drain housing. 15/16 on the main nut to remove stator housing.

If your LG washer machine is not working, initiates the washing program but when the agitator moves, it sounds like an electricc buzz and then the washer stops and shows the letters "LE", chances are that this part has failed and needs to be replaced.To replace it you will need to incline your washer machine, and from the bottom, remove the rotor plate and the motor coils to access and replace this hall sensor. Tools: a ratchet with extension and a 24mm socket and another ratchet with a 10mm socket for the screws that hold the motor coil.Replacing this part is easy straghtforward and should not require calling "the guy". You must drain and disconnect water and power from the appliance first to do it.My washer machine was fixed after I replaced this sensor

we got the dreaded LE code on our approx 6 year old LG washing machine and the LE code means that the motor isn't spinning and therefore the machine is useless. I bought this hall sensor and my 17 year old kid fitted it, so you don't have to be a fixit wizard, just a regular person can do this repair (or maybe my kid is a wizard, who knows). I would give it 5 stars but i don't know if it will work for 6 years like the original, so I gave it 4 stars. I would recommend this part if you have a LE code on an LG washer.
