Pet Grooming Combo - Blue Deshedding Brush with Metal Comb for Detangling and Dematting Long, Matted Fur on Cats and Dogs

I have a long haired cat that was getting a lot of matted hair on her back. I can't attest to this working on those mats as I ended up trimming them out, but I needed a better tool for maintenance on her coat. This rake was able to easily remove a ton of hair gently. She didn't really care for it the first evening, but two days later she was enjoying it. She even rolled on her back and let me comb her belly. She is so fluffy and soft now, and her hair has some luster again. This tool is more than worth it. I've tried other pricy undercoat brushes and those combs are just too dense. I used this on my border collie and it had the same results, although he was scared of it, so hopefully over time he'll get used to it. It worked somewhat on my medium haired cat to a degree, but it's more ideal for long hair.

The best $10 I’ve ever spent. My long-haired cat was starting to develop mats across his chest, and after a week of trying to remove them by hand and with a regular brush, I wasn’t getting anywhere. I loved having multiple options for teeth spacing: the tool worked perfectly for larger mats, while the comb handled the smaller pieces. Cleaning up the removed hair was quick and easy. No mess. The process was completely painless, and my cat calmly laid in my arms the entire time. No excess pulling, no stress, no drama. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. This works.

This brush works great on my dog’s coat. It removes loose hair fast and doesn’t pull or hurt. The handle is comfortable and the design makes it easy to switch between tools. My dog actually sits still for this one. Great grooming set. This removes fur like crazy!!!! I have compared and this one works the best! 10/10

I got this grooming set for my Aussie, aka my walking fur factory. He absolutely hates being brushed and acts personally offended if I even think about going near his back end. I was this close to giving up and taking him to a groomer, until I found this brush set. This is not your gentle, everyday brush. This is your post-shed-season, undercoat-exorcising, deep-clean mode brush, or your dog’s coat is holding onto loose hair like it has separation anxiety. The first time I used it, I swear I created a whole second dog from the amount of hair it pulled out. Even my dog seemed thankful, and he does not get as hot now. There is something deeply satisfying about watching that trapped undercoat release in clumps. It has tiny razors along each tooth, which is both terrifying, but wonderful. It does help work out mats, but it will not magically slice through thick knots. It takes patience, sectioning, and gentleness, especially for the sensitive skinned dogs. Think of it like brushing your own tangled hair, painful if rushed, manageable if slow. I do wish this set came with a slicker brush. I had to buy one separately just to prep the coat before using this. A slicker really helps fluff everything out first. Without it, you are just jumping into battle without armor. Also, the metal comb style brush is okay, but I use that on my shorter haired dog more. Cleaning is easy. My Aussie was halfway to turning into a sheep before I used this thing. If your dog sheds enough to knit a full sweater, get this. Just know it is not an everyday tool.

I've had this brush for all of 5 minutes and I am OBSESSED with it!! I have a long haired rescue cat that does like me brushing her lower back and tail. She tolerates the face for a little, but then the claws come out. Its been over a year of brushing her a tiny bit each night and we still end up with little mattes here and there. I saw this brush and thought, well it cant be any worse. I was shooketh!!! It immediately started pulling chunks of her undercoat out, and I started at the head where I always brush. SHE LET ME GET HER BACK AND PART OF HER TAIL!! It wasnt pulling and seemed to be super soft on her skin. I only got about 45% of her body done and there was a giant pile of hair on the floor! I cant wait to finish the rest after a break. The comb seems super nice and sturdy too. Get this product! Its legit!

This is the best item I have gotten for our fur baby she's 13 she's a Yorkie she's fragile at this point it's extremely easy to clean it works for any hair type The Grooming was easy and it's extremely durable

I have a long haired cat that gets matted up regularly. Brushing with pet brushes really not not help as they would just go over the matted bits. This tool works really well to cut through them. My cat does not have big mats, so I can’t say it it would work for that, but it is really helpful in thinning out my cat’s undercoat ad keeping the mats at bay.

Wowza! Agree with all the other comments about the pile of hair that cane out, just in a few swipes. My cat is super picky about everything and especially change, and I think it pulls a little which she doesn’t like but i never take her to groomers as that’s too traumatic. So I’m working on it inch by inch through treat bribery or trickery. This is an amazing tool, sturdy and is like magic. It is hard to pull the hair out and hold her and keep going though so having an assistant to clean the brush (because it fills up so fast!) would help.
