uni JETSTREAM PRIME SXR-200-07 Ballpoint Pen Refills 0.7mm (Black, 4 Pack)

I read tons of reviews on 'pen collector' sites, and these kept coming up to the top of the recommendations from people who actually know about these things. I have replaced all my small ballpoints with these, and they seem to not dry out. They also have a very smooth ink flow. Highly recommended by an amateur.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Do you love pens that last literally one week? Read on! I don't. And that's as long as these last. So, if you love frustration, go for it! Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere.

I bought the 4 pack from the seller Mitsubishi Pencil, which should be the official seller for the brand. Though the picture for the set shows plastic housing, and the answer by the seller say the same, the actual product received are the proper metal SXR-200-07 refill. I actually received 5 refills despite ordering the 4 pack. Given that the single refill cost almost as much as the 4 pack, it really is a no-brainer to order the 4 pack. I just wouldn't necessarily trust the other sellers to be providing the right product.Oh, the refill itself is great too. And it's a known quantity that it's pretty much the best ball point type refill, and the capacity will be limited in the D1 form factor.

Its n8ce enough and cheap enough. Still looking for a better d2 refill

This doesn't write like a ball point pen where you can feel the variations in friction when you write. Instead its consistent and smooth when you glide this across the paper. Absolutely one of the best ballpoint pen refills I've used.Longevity is untested as I'm still writing with the same refill. Will update at some point.

They came made of metal which is disappointing since I can't tell when they are near empty and the product picture is of transparent plastic.Who knows, maybe the metal housing is thinner and, therefore, holds slightly more ink than the thicker plastic walls.

These run out ridiculously fast. I have gone through 2 of the 4 pack so far. I write daily and have only gotten around 20 pages for each refill. I thought the first refill was just a dud, but after the second doing the same thing I will not be purchasing these again. Super disappointing. Before they run out they do work nice, for a few pages.

The item works as expected.
