Great quality! I used this robe for my Chicha cosplay from The Emperor’s New Groove. I split the seam down the middle and added a skirt and it was perfect! I’m 6’ tall and the sleeves were also a great length. LOVED that it had pockets too.

Beautiful and carefully made. Exquisite stitching. Fit chart is exact to size. Can't say enough good things about this. I hope they make a winter version.

I rarely write reviews but I must comment on the robe I received. It was better than anything I expected. The craftsmanship, the fit, the detail...outstanding. I have had a brown Zen Buddhism robe for years and it is wonderful and quite expensive. My “earth yellow” one is a great switch so to speak. The color is more representative of Theravadin Buddhism. I think what makes this robe even more functional than my “expensive” one is that it has an inner front pocket and two side pockets! I did not expect those features! You can actually wear it around the house and carry your cell phone, prayer beads...food...anything! The ties are great and the fabric ball fasteners (buttons) really help with the fit. It is a fantastic buy! Get it! You’ll love it! Namaste my friends!

The material and craftsmanship are excellent. However, be aware that the chest measurement is exactly as advertised--50 inches with no give if you need a little more.

6’0 195 I got the 43. Fits like a glove, well made and with pockets. Light fabric but still warm cause breath ability is low.

It was very comfortable and looked nice standing next to Lord Raidan in the Halloween Parade in NYC.

I admit we weren't expecting much from this when we ordered it, BUT, when my husband showed it to me I was blown away by the quality. As a sewist, my eye instantly caught the gorgeous drape and the quality of the stitching. The fabric "hand" is luscious and each raw edge of the seams are enclosed within a seam binding for a very "upper end" finish. I literally could not say enough good about the robe.

Extremely comfortable. Suitable for Tai Chi and meditation. Very light material , perfect for summer . I highly recommend this product .

great product just what I wanted!!

I'm 6'2" with a 44" chest. Amazon said order a 41 but I ordered a 45 on the assumption I could roll the sleeves up if need be. 45 is perhaps slightly too big, the sleeves coming to the bottom of my thumb and the chest having room for a sweater or two. I ordered grey and it's much darker than the photo, I'd probably order light grey if I could. The fabric is what I'd call heavy cotton. It's not padded or lined. On the whole though I'm happy with my new spiritual robe.

This item is beautifully made, sewn and finished. The fabric is not cotton and linen, it is a blend with polyester, hot and does not breathe. Also the robe is short on one side so cannot be worn open.

I really liked this Shaolin Monk Robe and it took about 10 days to arrive from Hong Kong to Canada, which wasn't bad. The material looks and feels good, the workmanship is excellent and the size is perfect for me. The price could be a little expensive but it is worth it. I do recommend this robe!
