TePe Dental Floss, Waxed Mint-Flavored PFAS-Free Tooth Floss, 40 Meters

This is the best dental floss I have tried. It is strong, easy to grip, does not fray easily and has enough texture to actually clean the teeth.

Does not snag! Does not cut your hands! Gets between teeth more easily, cleans well! Much better than half a dozen others I've tried.

I’ve been using Burst floss, but this slides more easily. I have pretty big gaps in my teeth so I need a thicker floss. It does shred a bit, and I’d like it to be a little more waxed, but overall it’s been good and I’d repurchase

This dental floss is excellent and safe to use. I no longer use Oral-B Glide floss because it contains PFAS, a dangerous chemical found in many consumer products ranging from nonstick cookware to waterproof clothing to food packaging, and used in firefighting foams at airports and military bases. These chemicals have been linked to liver damage, harm to the immune system, developmental issues, and cancer, and can persist in people’s bodies and in the environment for many years.

Very disappointed. I've used TePe dental tape for years and I'm very happy with it. I purchased it through Amazon years ago. I went to reorder, however, the dental tape is not among the TePe items for sale. I went and ordered the dental floss. Last time I'll do that. It's a completely different type of floss. It is comprised of hundreds of individual strands of micro fibers wound up into a string. When applied between the teeth, it expands. That is good for getting all the particles, plaque and tarter out. However, the fibers expand too much, thus shredding between the teeth. Leaving you with a mouth full of fibers between your teeth. I had to use my existing dental tape to remove the fibers between the teeth. It's a shame they don't offer the dental tape on Amazon anymore. Stay away from this floss.

I have incredibly crowded teeth and therefore tend to be fussy about my floss. This product is sturdy and strong, but is a bit thick for dental tape. Any thicker and I wouldn't be able to use it comfortably. If your teeth aren't crazy crowded like mine this should be fine. It is priced well too!

If you expect a dental tape like the much missed Glide Tape, you won't get it here. This is a decent product but not really a tape, as labelled. It's really just another floss.

Not impressed. I like regular dental tape (thicker than normal floss) and I like the waxed, multi-strand "normal" dental tape, and I really like mint flavored floss. I haven't found one that has all three so I normally buy the "Reach" brand waxed dental tape (wishing it was mint flavored). This one caught my eye because it seemed to be everything I wanted but it is not so. This is not woven. It is the teflon ribbon type and the ingredients list says PTFE (which is teflon), beeswax and mint scent. I don't know why they bother with wax except that it perpetuates the myth that it is a woven construction, and the mint scent is barely detectable in the container and not detectable on a piece of the floss. I'm very disappointed and glad that I didn't buy a bunch. It does go between the teeth easier than real dental tape (because it is a thin ribbon of slippery teflon) but of course it doesn't clean out food particles as well so what's the point?

Prima di questo filo interdentale utilizzavo quello di un altro marchio, ormai fuori produzione. Cercavo un filo non cerato che ne uguagliasse l’efficacia e con questo prodotto ho soddisfatto le mie necessità: resistente, compatto, morbido. Ma soprattutto, più economico! Assolutamente consiglio.

oral b pro expert modeline göre biraz kalın ama daha uygun.

Perfect expandable. The packaging is not so convenient but the floss is perfect.

Sto testando alternativa al nastro ORal-b, e in effetti questo 'taglia' meno, essendo un pizzico più spesso, ma è anche più morbido e sinceramente lo preferisco. Oral-b era superiore nel sapore, e qualità costruttiva

Since Oral-B has discontinued their perfect 'Pro Expert Premium' dental floss (or rather change their product formulation and making out of it something completely different) , we've been trying various flosses to see if anything comes close in terms of texture/quality to the original 'Pro Expert Premium'. Unfortunately, this one is not 'it' - it's quite soft and pleasant, however it's a bit thick and shreds to multiple flosses in tight spaces.. 4/5
