Hunting Shooting Bench with Swivel Seat

Assembled my new X-Stand today and it was easy and a pleasure to do so! Instructions are clear and very helpful. Precision engineering and manufacturing make this a valuable and easy-to-assemble shooting bench. The seat is comfortable and super-easy to adjust. By the way, it looks great in the courtyard and my wife likes how it looks too - big plus! See photos. The platform/table is ample sized for my needs and the vinyl pad is a big plus. I like the 2 side pockets attached to the pad. Shells seem to roll to the center of the platform slightly - which is so much better than rolling off the table, of course. The table is rock steady. The vertical rest that you steady your rifle or pistol on is fully adjustable and a joy to use. The bench is made of steel and coated with a paint that feels like it will withstand harsh weather. Sportsman almost thought of everything except that I had to buy black, plastic end caps for the steel legs and supports to prevent rust and bugs or geckos from entering the steel tubes. Purchased these end caps on Amazon: uxcell Desk Leg Plastic Blanking End Cap Square Tube Insert Black 25mmx25mm 10pcs. It is easily collapsible to store in my garage. Note: I use this bench in my back yard for shooting BBs and Pellets, so I cannot speak to its usefulness for live ammunition.

Let me start by saying i have assembled 100s of pieces of CRAP from China in my life. "THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM" But it is made in China. Came USPS very quick shipping ordered on Sunday Amazon Prime and received it Tuesday 10am. It was in the original manufactures box i was surprised the box was in great shape it weights 46lb. Easy to unpackage. Laid all the parts and pieces out and they were ALL THERE.Assembly instructions Were easy to understand and you did not need a magnifying glass to read them. Parts were easy to assemble by myself just follow the step by step instructions. Also the parts blow up diagram was large and easy to read and distinguish one part from the other. I am pertty mechanical and have engineered and made things work or fit all my life. This skill level was not needed to assemble this product. "HERES THE BIGGY IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE ASSEMBLY OF THIS SHOOTING BENCH YOU HAVE NO BUSSENESS OWNING OR SHOOTING A GUN" Very sturdy very well made perfect. One thing that would have made it better. i would have gladly payed extra if THEY WOULD HAVE USED POWDER COATING FOR THE PAINT. its a nice flat black regular paint job which im sure is going to scratch off easly. Not a big deal for me im in las vegas dry and no humidity but for you guys back east or down south you might want to consider taking the time to spray it yourself with a good Quality epoxy clear coat to avoid future rust problems. This is a very well made setup. I give it 5 stars for sturdiness. And it was fairly easy to assemble. It took me about an hour but I took my dear sweet time, reading every step first, even checking the parts list. (The box was badly damaged somewhere along the line, but all parts were intact, even a lone bolt and nut used in the stabilizing lock.)The seat is decently comfortable and the spacing of table and seat and shooting rest are better than I expected.But as to portability, I give it 3 stars at best. This thing has some issues. It easily disassembles into two pieces, which helps, but you'll probably lose the 4" plastic "washer" if you're not careful. The bottom portion consists of the legs, which flop around amongst themselves all too easily. A bungee cord helps control them and make the assembly safe to carry, but now you've added something else to keep up with in the field. The top portion is the table and seat. The table flops up one way and the seat the other, so that they are constantly fighting each other to open back up on you. Again, a bungee cord helps, but adds yet another piece. There are no pictures of the thing folded up for transport. Now I know why.Adding to transport woes, this thing is large and heavy. It does not fold flat, so it takes up a lot of space in your vehicle. I would not even think about carrying this more than about 10 yards. And when assembled and set up, the feet spread out about 4 feet wide.I love the fitted cover but wonder how long it will hold up before I need to come up with a replacement. The stabilizer lock is great, but I would like a swivel stop as well, something to keep it from turning once I have everything set the way I want it.As a shooting table, this thing is great. As a portable shooting table... Well, it is portable. You can carry it and move it. Just not easily, and not without a few bangs and pinches, and it takes up a goodly bit of room. Overall I like it, but in retrospect I wish I had gotten the cheaper, smaller, non-swiveling version.

Product was delivered on time. No damage to original box during shipping. Easy to assemble and sturdy design. I have seen negative reviews on damage and breakage but I have had no issues. Truly a good product and would recommend to others. Good luck with your decision but if you are looking to buy a reasonably priced good quality shooting table that is portable then buy this one. You will not be sorry you did.

I don’t get how other people on this page can say that this table is cheaply made it is not I’m 210 pounds and 6 foot five and it holds me just great. I could have a little bit more fluidity in the in the swivel, but it doesn’t have bearings which I think would be the only detractor for me. I think they could be put Bearings in the swivel part and make it turn easier but other than that it’s very well-made and doesn’t have any issue. I’m looking forward to using it.

Really like this shooting rest. It's portable and light weight. Some times can be awkward carrying. But still very good and convenient.
