These are VERY sturdy and great for work or otherwise. They are easy to use, a great value for your money. So sturdy that I trust all of my millions of keys won’t go ANYWHERE if I hold it up in the air..they won’t sink down with the retractable string, as others have done that to me in the past.(great hold)..just to give you an idea for the hold and if you can trust it if you have heavy things you’re attaching. Not too heavy to be so sturdy. The retractable string stretches out quite far and is a very reasonable length.I personally carry my car keys on them and use the retractable string to get my house key (to my front door) from my purse without having to remove my keys.

I purchased these because I’m tired of taking my door keys in & out of my limited space handbag! I just used this to attach to outside body strap of my handbag & it can extend to my door lock without opening my handbag

I like these better than the other ones I was using as these have a more secure carabiener clip that doesn't slip out. The cable is very strong, plenty long, and the spring tension holds work keys up well. Estimating around 10 keys I have on there?I like this as I can clip my keys to my belt, and they hang low enough to keep in a pocket for the the silence but still easy to access for when I need them, and the fact they're tethered means I can't lose them. (A few of the keys I have are important and I can't risk losing them.)And lastly, a feature that's nice for me in maintenance is these can be considered breakaway without being weak. The connection of the cable to the inner spring loaded mechanism is weak enough to pull out with a strong tug (say, getting caught in equipment) without pulling you off your feet, but it's plenty strong to where normal use won't cause it to detach. I've actually had another brands retractable hold up to the claim, the keys got caught and were taken for a ride but I was fine.

The quality of these retractable is 10/10, very sturdy and smooth to use. I really like that it came also with the badge holder and the keychain ring which for me is very much needed at work, and the material hasn’t scratch or anything for the 6 months that I’ve have them now. I hang it on my apron and it doesn’t feel heavy and that was my only worry. The price for two of these is worth every penny. Will buy more for sure!

Significant upgrade from the flimsy badge reel work offered. Beefy structure and steel cord along with the stronger spring holds the load without sagging. Should have purchased way before this.

I got this for my work keys since I have to unlock a lock door and got tired of having to find my keys or unhook my keys from my belt. I was iffy about the hook since it looks kind of think but so far so good. Maybe it's my lack of strength but the opening does take some really pushing to get the latch to push back to unhook. It's advertised as heavy duty do I guess that's the whole reason for it being harder to push back. I do worry for the ID badge look. I hope it'll last in the long run but time will tell. Will update if anything changes sooner than later.
