This has two filter systems. It seems the small square one near the pump is similar to an aquarium filter?Wondering if that would work?The round top filter that came with it is different than the suggested filters.I ordered the suggested filters, I’m not sure if they will work.I just got it today, pretty easy to set up. I was slightly disappointed that the piece that goes under the metal top piece is plastic.This is the second stainless steel one I’ve tried. The cats had no interest in the first one.So far no interest yet in this one:(They loved the plastic one, but it was difficult to clean thoroughly. I was hoping this would be an improvement as it is dishwasher safe.Still waiting for my cats to love it… they love drinking out of the bathroom sink, why not this??My fingers are crossed. I’ll check back once I’ve tried it out longer.

This is a great product. Matches our kitchen with the stainless steel. Does not leave fingerprints on it. Very quiet. Would recommend.

Finally got this set up in the one room I was lacking one. I've recently gained more cats so there's animal sit in every room now.Assembly was a breeze, as it came almost completely put together.. the spout where the water comes out is the only thing I put on. Then you have to soak the non sponge filter for 10 minutes, rinse it and quick wash the whole thing then you're good to go. Other than waiting for the filter, it all took not even 5 minutes.It has more filters than I've ever seen so not much of a chance things will get thru it with normal use. It should be able to go a little longer between filter changes too. But they don't send any extra or spare so make sure to plan accordingly so you're not stuck with dirty ones and no way to change them. I think they should send at least one refill but that's just my opinion. I also don't remember seeing any of the lower filters when looking for refills so not sure how easy it would be to get them anytime but that's the only con.It's quiet and has good flow, the many filters makes me feel like my pets are getting good quality water.

I have a feline roommate who insists on drinking from the kitchen faucet. I assume that he would prefer a more reachable alternative like this wonderful cat water fountain that I placed next to his food bowl. He merely looks at it and is not as impressed as I am by the many fabulous features: stainless steel exterior instead of plastic, replaceable filters, quiet motor, and very easy to assemble and take apart for cleaning. It also plugs into any wall with an adapter (included).The only drawback I found is that the small motor can easily disconnect and hinder its operation, so it’s important to make sure that its cover is properly closed before adding water and then the rest of the parts. It would also have been great if the manufacturer included additional filters. However, they are sold separately.I’ll keep trying to entice my finicky guy into trying this fountain out when I’m not home. Maybe he’ll learn to appreciate it and like it as much as I do.

Great smaller size, easy to fill! We converted the empty space under the steps to a kitty utility room for our sweet Lucy, so I appreciate it's size. I've used the fountain for 2 weeks now with no problem, and cleaned everything today for the first time... but I'm getting a bit nervous for when I need to replace the filter.... they're a lot smaller than most replacement filters out there! I took away a star for not having a resource or link for replacement filter options, it's frustrating to hunt for what "could work". Fingers crossed I find a good replacement filter!

This is great for small dogs. The fountain doesn't splash all over and works well. My dog loves it.

I wasn't sure if the sizing would be totally right and the uncertainty was compounded by the fact that it's a long way for shipping. I do not regret the buy as it is a comfortable material, fit and no need for alterations as pant lengths are a great fit! I suppose the bonus is that it's not your standard scrub pants design. Highly recommended!

I purchased a small size assuming they were going to be small, but they are still long in the leg and quite wide .I usually about an Australian size 8 but these are more like a size 12. They fit my husband a lot better than me..He likes them so much he's going to use them as Golf Pants. Extra pockets for the extra balls.
