Fit great and easy to install

Husband put this up pretty easily. Thanks to other reviewers I knew to get self-tapping screws, and luckily we have a great Ace Hardware nearby. What we didn’t do at first was put some silicone at the bottom edge. We live in Los Angeles and don’t get much rain but this winter we have had maybe 8 days which is a lot for us, and now I am not awakened by the stream hurtling down the valley and crashing on the patio. Another reviewer said this was the sturdiest one he had tried, which is what sold me. Also, it was the right color to match our gutters and trim. Very pleased with this.

These are much better than what I found in the box stores due to the length. Box stores sold a short version of a splash guard and you had to double or triple and overlap them, which is ugly and more room for weak points for water leaks. I have a steep sloped roof with leaf filters on the 6 in. gutters, guards will obstruct water flow from any brand leaf filter. A couple minutes with steel wool, a little white satin paint job and they were ready to go. 4 stars because the screws were not self taping. We recently had some hard rain and the guards did very well. I also used a little silicone seal to prevent water leaking underneath them.

These "2 Pcs Rain Gutter Valley Splash Guards" worked great!They come shipped in a flat form, and, you can bend them in the direction that you need, whether you want the screw holes on the inside of the angle, or, the outside... I went with the holes on the outside. You just need to be careful, when bending them...They come pre-drilled with 8 holes in each.And, they also come with the 16 screws needed to mount the two slash guards, included, which is nice, too.(Though, one of the product pictures seems to show a 1/4" drill-screw bit, that tool was not included in my package...)They are NOT painted, or powder-coated, or anything, just bare aluminum... so, I took a can of white semi-gloss Rust-Oleum, and, painted the visible side of each of the guards.I have two valleys that just happen to aim right at my front entry stoop and the patio & garden beside it...Well, with a cordless Drill, and, a step-ladder, these "2 Pcs Rain Gutter Valley Splash Guards" quickly fixed this long-standing problem!Good deal!

We recently had some gutter replaced and the one thing they did not do, was replace the splash guard I put up. If it rains hard, there is a flood coming down off our valley and there have been rare times, we've had water in our basement because of it. So there are really a necessity.The finish is not perfect on these, they are kind of scratched up, but no one will see that on the roof. though I do wish they were white to blend in, one of the pictures make sit look like it's white. They are pretty heavy duty, more than strong enough. Mounting holes are kind of big, I like to use rivets, so I might need to drill some holes. They do give you screws, but those are kind of big as well.It is a simple product and if you are buying it, you most likely know how it works, but there are no directions in the box, not even a thank you note.Serves the purpose, price is good, would recommend.

You got everything pictured except a ladder, drill and a person to install it

Surprised it rusted, fairly quickly too, within a week :/ Otherwise, perfect size.

What can you really say other than it is just a piece of metal.
