leaks if tipped by confused patient.
A good idea, but not workable. A confused patient who tends to pick up and tilt like a normal cup will experience dripping of liquid and also when he throws things it will leak on the floor. Not as advertised.

Spilled it on the first try
Tried this with my mom and she spilled it on the first try. Not sure how exactly, but it's definitely possible. I never did find a spill proof cup that fit her ability to lift when full ( or even half full ), and not look like a toddler cup which just irritated her sense of dignity. I totally get that and we just moved to clean up whatever we needed until we got to the stage where she needed to be fed. Good luck everyone.

Not spill proof
The small base only adds to spills because of how it tilts and the spout allows liquid to easily spill out. My fault though as I should have paid more attention to design
