Great images and functionality
Had this a while now and image recording is very good-HOWEVER in my experience for it to run smoothly all the time you MUST FORMAT the mini SD card every few weeks , or in my case it stops recording after a while

Good little camera but already broken
Camera worked well and was purchased for my wife for her car. She was able to set up quickly and was happy with recordings but the quality of the charger is poor and has already broken now rendering it useless.

Good camera, it works pretty good. Once in a while it times out and I tap it starts to record again. It’s mainly at night so I’m assuming because it’s dark it can’t tell I’m driving. It’s got a few good videos in the few months I’ve owned it. Including myself hitting a deer !

Perfect for my needs. Driving & living in NYC and seeing people purposely crashing into other cars to make fraudulent insurance claims, I purchased two of these cameras for myself and my father. It's easy to work, the instructions are clear, and it comes WITH the memory card - Major Plus! I stick it to my windshield, and it does not get in the way at all. Even though I use it for the front only, I feel secure that if something occurs, at least I'll have recorded video. The camera works w/ the car - turns on and off w/ the car -- and I keep it plugged into the charger in the car b/c that's just easier for me. It does recorded loops, and locks a video when a collision/impact occurs. I haven't had any accidents, but I feel secure w/ this camera. And the price is also very reasonable.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I got two of these because of the traffic in my city and I wanted something that wasn’t going to break the bank but still be good to use. Quality: Overall quality is pretty good, except the ways to install it. I had to turn my base piece around so I could install my camera onto the dash and honestly, it worked great except for the fact that during the summer the tightening nut comes loose or the camera locking portion would come loose. So I brushed a light coat of modeling glue onto the critical pieces and it’s a beauty! Plug your computer into it and get all the data you need from your camera and keep going!

UPDATE 8/14/25 - I had a problem formatting a new sd card. I clicked on the link, emailed my issue and they sent a replacement camera and had it in less than a week... .no questions asked!!! that was nice. One new comment is that I did realize the angle could be a little wider. ORIGINAL COMMENTS: I like it easy to use and set up. The instructions for operation are in a booklet and I can actually read it. The other cameras and some electronics I have purchased, you have to have a magnifying glass to read it and it is just a folded up piece of paper. What I like about this camera is the suction cup works well and I can use it on a rental car. I like the size of the screen and it shows you it is recording and you can see the seconds and when it automatically starts over. It does have a USB adapter so you can download videos. It does not link to an app or cell phone but it is OK. I needed it easy to transfer to a rental car.

**Original Purchase May 2024** Been using this for about 3 months now, and it is working great. It seems to record in short clips that overlap slightly. I was exploring the clips and found a few that did not record properly, but only a few were bad out of the thousands of clips on the card. It records new files until full, then appears to record over the old ones. I have used two different micro SD cards in it, just to see if they work ok, and everything was fine. The card that came with the unit is back in the camera now, and still working as it should. The power cord is long enough that I was able to route it along the top of the windshield to the column, down the doorframe to under the dash and rout it back to the center where the 12v access was located with plenty of slack. I used a Velcro tie to hold the extra wire out of the way under the dash. I frankly did not expect much from such an inexpensive unit, but I am impressed with what I got. ** Update October 28, 2025** Purchased a second Dashcam for another vehicle. Very impressed with the original and wanted the same set up for the second vehicle. New camera is very similar to old one - the camera itself is almost identical. The power cord has changed from a micro-USB to a USB-C into the camera, and the plug in is now "standard" USB-A plug and an included 12v cigarette lighter plug with a USB port (like a phone charger). This is a welcome change. Even after a year and a half of continual use, the original camera is working great. It is used every day, and occasionally the SD card is pulled and formatted to keep "fresh". No noticed issues and very few corrupted video files. Occasionally, I will return to the car and find the camera hanging by its wire because the suction cup "let go". This seems to happen when it has been pretty cold, and the temperature suddenly jumps up (happens a lot in the Rocky Mountain states). Easy to fix, but makes the camera kind of worthless for intended purpose when it is hanging and looking back into the vehicle. Was planning on mounting the new one with the adhesive mount, but that mount is no longer included with the unit (bummer). The ONLY real complaint I have is the mount where it connects to the camera. The camera falls off the mount from time to time, and then it is hanging by the wire (like when the suction cup lets go, but in the case the suction cup is still on the windshield and the camera is dangling). Originally happened after driving on a bumpy road, but seems to happen after a while anyway, just from typical driving. A drop of glue solved the problem (so far). Of course It always happens when moving, making the camera useless until I can pull off and park to fix it. Again, a drop of glue seems to have solved the problem.
