UPDATE:After giving it another shot - I finally managed to get the software to work. You need to download the full AC install package (4.0GB) rather than using the online installer with frameworks. Now I have the software, the controller is great but, I'm not giving it any higher than 3 stars as the software should just work plus doesn't have an xbox app.BEFORE UPDATE:Where to start.Overall the controller is actually quite nice. Feels just like a standard Xbox controller with shorter trigger pulls. The main PROBLEM is the app. It simply just doesn't work.I have spent hours and hours trying to get the app to work. Attempted to contact support but eventually gave up because they make it nearly impossible to open a ticket as their website doesn't even work. Do not bother with this controller. Get a Victrix Gambit instead.

Nearly perfect
Was really looking forward to this when I saw it, love ASUS products and having this linked with the rest of my kit sounded amazing. I’ve tried so many controllers and none have bettered the basic Xbox wireless. I use mine wired to the PC so not bothered about XBox use however if you want to use it on an XBox you won’t get anymore from this as you need the Armoury app to make any changes. The settings are decent, both for the lighting and stick configuration. The rear buttons are good and don’t get in the way, the issue being they can only be set to normal controller buttons and not macro or other keys. The sticks and buttons feel great, not clicky or loud. The controller is slightly smaller then a standard Xbox controller and dare I say feels a little cheaper despite being twice the price. The main issue for me, is the lack of trigger rumble and feedback, same as Razer Chroma, something the basic Xbox controller uses well. The best controller I’ve found is the Elite but I’ve never had one that has lasted and I’ve not found another that can match the feeling and configuration. I was hopeful this could, but I don’t think the extra config and lighting warrants the price difference when it lacks a useful feature for racing sims in particular and should really be expected at this price point. However if do you want a controller for PC that looks and feels different, does have some very useful features and some actual stick and button config then this really does offer that, if you can live without the trigger rumble, at a premium price then I can recommend it.

feels cheap, not good
Pad feels cheap and substandard quality, it's like a normal xbox controller only with ROG stickers etched onto it, if you are spending this much money Razer & Elite pads are leagues ahead
