I am xl, but bought xxl because it was on clearance. Great looking shirt

I asked my husband to try out this Vantage Men’s ¼ Zip Pullover. He found that there are definitely some great aspects about this shirt. The micro-mesh fabric is soft, comfortable, and breathable. The color, listed as Navy, looks more like a dark eggplant gray or bluish gray and is very attractive. The shirt has a zippered pocket on the right side that is surprisingly deep, and can securely hold his smartphone and other small items. The shirt fits as it should and and looks flattering and handsome. The shirt is also nicely constructed and well stitched. The team logo (Trenton Thunder) on the chest upper left is just like the symbol for the minor league baseball team in Trenton, New Jersey, and would be a loved by any fan of the team.My husband found only a couple of negatives. The sleeves, which are the correct length when his arms are hanging down, have a tendency to ride up when he reaches for things or moves his arms above his chest. Also, unlike other pullovers that can fit over his long-sleeve collared shirts, this one is cut more narrowly and doesn’t really fit much underneath other than regular t-shirts. With the exception of those issues, my husband really liked the shirt.

Vantage Minor League Baseball Men's 1/4 Zip Pull Over Top is here on my desk for review. I am 5’ 10” tall and weigh 180 pounds. I ordered large and find that it is just a bit tight on me. This pullover top is made of 100% polyester and it is very light, appropriate for cool summer evenings. It has a relaxed fit that hangs straight and looks good. The sleeves are medium in length and fit me perfectly. The card that comes with the shirt tells me that this shirt has a moisture management technology that wicks away perspiration. What I can tell my readers is that when I hold the shirt up to the light, I can see right through it, the material is that thin and porous. On the left side of the shirt the Trenton Thunder logo is medium-sized and larger than what appears on the Amazon picture, which is otherwise accurate.Bottom line: this Vantage Pull Over is an attractive, light shirt that can be worn indoors all year round or outdoors on cool summer evenings. When ordering remember that large won’t work well for anyone weighing more than 180 pounds, unless that person wants a shirt that fits snugly.

The embroidery quality of this product was excellent, and the comfort of the shirt was also great. It looks like a professional sports team's best apparel. Just top notch. I particularly appreciate that it breathes well and stays looking pretty nice after wearing it all day. The stitching is consistent and nice quality, consistent with a nice golf shirt.I like minor league apparel more than the big teams because hey, you're showing interest in your local community and cheering on a team that appreciates the support more than the millionaires. I guess that's not really here or there, but I think these teams are simply cooler to be sporting on your shirt than the Yankees or Astros that everyone is wearing.You can't beat the quality of the fit, which was as expected, or the material, which was excellent. The price is high for a shirt, but low compared to licensed apparel for an NCAA or pro team, so it's a good value in my opinion.It's just something very comfortable to wear that's well made.

This pullover is 100% polyester and made in China. The fit is true to size. I tossed it in the dryer without any shrinking or color fading. The material is reasonably soft, not junky or scratchy like some polyesters can be.I like the large zipper pocket on the right side. A very handy feature! The top itself is slightly see through, but cool enough to wear on a summer night. The Trenton Thunder logo is a bit larger than it looks in the product picture. The embroidery on the logo seems to be very well done.

This shirt is NOT what the Vine description said it was. Described as a "Vantage Minor League Baseball Trenton Thunder Men's 1/4 Zip Pull Over Top, Large, Navy" it is instead a polo shirt, which is a different deal altogether. There is a page for that on Amazon, by the way, the "Vantage Performance Mesh Polo" retailing for between $44.99 and $48.99 (the pullover retails for $49.90 - $53.99). Which is fine. I'd never heard of the team (given a choice I'd have ordered a Durham Bulls shirt) but it's a lovely shirt. It feels great and it's perfect for the coming heat of summer and the name of the team is sure to be a conversation starter, meaning I'd better look them up online.It really is a nice shirt. It's high-quality, well-stitched and attractive, and I was in need of another polo shirt so I'm happy to add it to my closet. I'm willing to spend a bit more for polos so I don't find the price off-putting, particularly when you consider that it's a sports-related product. I'd always rather have a few good shirts than lots of cheap ones (much as I enjoy Tom Cruise, I don't share Jack Reacher's fashion aesthetic).If you want to set yourself apart, or you're just a fan of minor league baseball or want something quirky to wear, I highly recommend these Vantage Minor League baseball polos. Five stars.

I received the ¼ zip pullover top pictured. The material is very nice and is light-weight enough for cool summer evenings. The logo appears a little larger than shown in the picture.The shirt fits well through the shoulders but doesn’t hang like a tent around the waist. This is the first pullover I’ve ever seen with a pocket but it seems like a good idea. Just the right size for your phone and it zips for security.
