Update: I found that inside the box, at the bottom, there is a card that has a warning to air out the mattress for x hrs. I hope they can update the instructions on the box to mention that too, to avoid miscommunication. After having the mattress topper for a month, I have to say it is very comfortable and has improved my sleep a lot. I use it on top of a pretty firm mattress. The zipper could be better.Original review:It is comfortable but:1. There is some off gassing, which is not noticeable when airing out the mattress but noticeable if you sleep on it before airing it out for 24-48hrs. It didn't smell when I left it in the open, but when I slept on it, the smell built up pretty strong over the night, especially with the heat and weight. It made me itchy. My advice is to leave the mattress out for a few days before sleeping on it, I wish the box warned about this. After airing it out for a few days, the smell was completely gone.2. It claims that there is certipur-us certification, but on the official certipur-us website, I couldn't find the company.The topper was comfortable and the straps kept it in place. But I wish the box instructions mentioned leaving it out to air for at least x number of days. I also hope the certifications are genuine.The other brands I've used hadn't smelled at all when I slept on them probably because they told me to air them out for several days. But this brand doesn't smell when airing it out, unlike some other brands, which I appreciate.Given how close your body is to the foam while sleeping, and that you can't detect smell while asleep, it is crucial to warn users, on the box, to air out the mattress prior to use. The setup steps on the box make it seem like you can use it right away.

I have been sleeping on this topper for about a week now and it’s perfect! I had to throw out my very expensive Temperpedic topper and I was looking for something comparable that wasn’t as expensive. This topper feels exactly the same as my Temperpedic! The cover is almost identical! I love that the straps on the cover are adjustable because it completely prevents the topper from sliding. I’m still able to use a fitted sheet without a problem. I did not notice a strong odor when I opened the topper and it expanded to its full size within an hour. Highly recommend!

I've had my gel foam mattress for one month and it is very comfortable to sleep on. The strap secures well onto the Queen mattress throughout the night. When I unpacked the item, it did not have any usual odors and it took one hour for the shape to set itself. Before this purchase, my mattress was firm, which caused lower back pain. The mattress has assisted with eliminating this pain and my sleep has improved.

A couple of months ago I decided too turn my twin bed into a full mattress scenario. When my brother bought a new mattress for his bed, I decided to keep his old mattress, clean it, and turn his old mattress into my new bed. To do that, I bought this topper and now, I sleep in a twin bed frame, turned successfully into a full bed frame,in order to accommodate this new, to me, full sized mattress.

Very soft and fluffy makes it really hard for me to get out of bed. Had to purchase an elderly thing for my bed because I can’t send it back. It’s too big so I’m stuck with it and it’s way too soft. Might be good for someone who has a super hard bed as my bed is a memory foam one and I probably shouldn’t got one to begin with.
