Symmetry Hard Anodized Nonstick Stir Fry / Wok Pan with Helper Handle - 14 Inch, Black

This is one of my better purchases. I was worried that it would be some small flimsy thing. Well, it's not! I'm very pleased with this nice, heavy, very large, nonstick wok. The wok that my mother had, had a round bottom so one had to put a ring for the wok to sit in around the burner. I thought it was great. I'd been working on a stir fry recipe that was really liked by my family, but my skillet was overflowing with all the ingredients. Ergo, The Wok. After a lengthy search, I saw this flat bottom wok and hoped that the flat surface would let the sides heat evenly and that I could, not only make my stir fry better, but I could (in theory) use the flat part as a kind of skillet. first thing I did was cook up some sunny side up eggs, just to test out the "non stick" thing, right? When the time came, I shook the wok a few times and dumped the eggs onto a plate with buttered toast (Adam and Eve on a raft) and the eggs came out of the wok perfectly.. and realllly fast!. I almost missed the plate. Gotta work on my aim. Otherwise, this wok is fantastic. And my stir fry is awesome👍.. I would SO recommend this wok to anyone who wants to get their wok on! Very heavy duty. Good thing that it has that helper handle on there, without it it would be very heavy and awkward. Superb!

Wife’s Christmas present. Has lasted longer than usual with non-stick. Getting used to cooking at a lower temperature took some getting used to, but they work well.

Build Quality, Weight, Nonstick AF. Love it. My friend has had a set of these for 5 years and they are still amazing. Now I'm slowly building my collection.

Performs well. I had some Circulon at a condo on Kauai last year. Liked them well enough to add one at home. Advice is often to heat the skillet first, add a little oil then cook. Eggs did well, no stick. Slid onto the breakfast plate perfectly. Let it cool before putting into the sink. Wash with warm water and no scratch pad, you will be fine. It is reported dishwasher safe, but I can clean it by hand. Of course best to use silicone, plastic, or wooden utensils. Never metal. No trouble looking to another size if I need a bigger skillet.

The first pan wasn’t quite round enough, but the seller replaced it for me. The second one is pretty good — not too heavy and not too light. I’ve been using it for a while now, and it really is non-stick.

So far, so good. All claims of being dishwasher safe check out thus far. Easy to clean, by hand or machine. Even heat distribution. Non-stick surface is NOT teflon and doesn't appear to have any scratch issues (though after years of being conditioned to NEVER put a metal utensil in a nonstick pan, I'm habitually reluctant to grab a fork and start poking into a chicken breast while it's cooking. Still, these pans are really doing themselves justice since I gave them to my husband as a christmas gift. My only issue is cosmetic as the brown color is U-G-L-Y and I can't imagine why anyone at circular would have said, " you know what everyone loves to see in the their kitchen, something too dark to look clean and too light too look dramatic. Lets make pans in brown for people who want them to match nothing else they own." Maybe that's why they were priced so well. I try not to look at them hanging next to my silver and cobalt blue pans and simply remember how well they work and that I can put them in the dishwasher instead of wiping them gently with a chamois cloth so I don't scuff the surface and give my family cancer. Hurray for that.

Love this pan! I threw out all my old teflon pans and bought 2 more of these in bigger sizes.

This 14-inch wok pan is just another great Circulon product. We purchased the Circulon Premier Professional cookware set when we bought our new Frigidaire Gallery induction range. The two products work like they were made for each other. Unfortunately, Circulon does not make the pasta strainer pot, or the 14-inch wok pan in the Premier Professional cookware line of products. The good news is that both the pasta strainer pot and the 14-inch wok pan are available in the Circulon Symmetry product line, which, other than color, is nearly identical to the Premier Professional product line. We purchased both the Symmetry pasta strainer pot and the 14-inch wok pan, in the chocolate color, to accompany the Premier Professional cookware set. All of the cookware works very well, which is to be expected with Circulon products. The Circulon Symmetry 14-inch wok pan is HUGE. The top rim diameter is 14-3/16", the bottom stainless steel plate is 8-1/2", and the pan is around 3-1/2" deep. It will hold a LOT of food. The 14-inch wok pan works with all stove tops, and it is especially designed for working with induction cooktops. The deep chocolate color is slightly metallic, and looks more like root beer than chocolate, which is nice. The 14-inch wok pan, like all Circulon cookware, is very durable, and it heats quickly and evenly. Medium heat on this pan is like using high heat on other cookware brands. The 14-inch wok pan is also oven-safe to 400 degrees, and the long main handle and silicone covered "helper handle" will keep users from getting burned while handling the large pan, especially when full of food. The only aspect of this heavy 14-inch wok pan that we do not like is the fact that the hanger hole on the main handle does not go all the way through the handle, so to be safe the pan must be hung by the helper handle. This is just a minor flaw though, in our opinion. We have been using Circulon products for decades, and they all work and hold up very well. This 14-inch wok pan is no exception. However, there are 3 simple rules to make any brand of cookware last a long time, no matter what amazing "abilities" that the manufacturers claim. 1) DO NOT put any nice cookware in the dishwasher. The bleach and acids in dishwasher detergent will eventually etch the cookware inside and out, ruining the finish. 2) DO NOT use metal utensils in non-stick cookware, period. They WILL scratch the non-stick coating. 3) DO NOT use very high heat for long periods of time, or at all, if it can be avoided. We follow these 3 rules, and we currently have Circulon, and other manufacturer's cookware, that look and work like new after decades of regular usage. Also, if anyone is looking for a nice lid for this 14-inch wok pan, we purchased a 14-inch Vigor Cookware brand stainless steel stock pot lid. The 14" Vigor lid fits the Circulon 14-inch wok pan perfectly. As you can probably tell by now, we really like the Circulon 14-inch wok pan, and all other great Circulon products. We highly recommend this wok pan. However, just be forewarned, this pan is HUGE!
