Q: can this be adapted to left-handed?

Yes. You take off the magnifier from the mount, flip the magnifier, and install the magnifier back on. The unit will now install so that the magnifier will flip to the left instead of to the right.

Q: Would this work well with the eotech 522?

Yes, it should work. But keep in mind that the 522 is an older model, so it will block the controls as they are not side facing on the 522.

Q: Hows the eyebox, can you shoot both eyes open?

You can shoot with both eyes open however it is more similar to a low power scope where closeing one eye will be a much better sight picture and is more true to the intended purpose of the magnifier. The holographic or red-dot can be used either way as well. The sight picture through the holographic/red-dot with one eye open or two is very clear in either scenario. Hope this helps. Authentic EOTech Product

After thoroughly inspecting the product and contacting EOTech customer service they verified the serial number and QR code as a authentic product.And I was also able to activate the warranty for the product aswell.Do not worry about the Quick Reference Guide for the magnifier, EOTech support told me that they use a generic QRG for magnifiers that mount the same.So far it’s glass is perfect, quality is tough and can take a beating. Great buy.Always refer to manufacturer support to verify product authenticity.

Fantastic optic

You get what you pay for and this was definitely fairly pricy. But it works great. The eye relief on the magnify is a little hard to get used to but that’s just how it goes for magnifiers.Buy once, cry once.
