Very very good and does what it says

Used to join two conventional pipes together. Had to use this to extend my dishwasher fill hose to my mains tap, as the one on the dishwasher side is fixed because it has a wired , solenoid activated anti flow valve. You can't remove it from the dishwasher because it's wired in, only problem is that my dishwasher is too far away from the tap and in an awkward place. Only issue I had was the dishwasher reporting that there was no water flow, but this was caused by a air bubble at the joint.

Filter washers with my washing machine assume a normal metal tap fitting. As this is plastic, the wall thickness is thicker, for strength I assume. The washer's filter wouldn't quite fit inside the coupler. In the end I had to shave the internal wall to make the filter fit. This stopped the connection from leaking. Hopefully the wall is still thick enough to form a good seal.

Does the job very well, it is well made from a good quality material. Ideal for extending hoses as described.

Was just perfect for what was needed,as it was much cheaper way of extending the water fill pipe if you have any spare pipes from other old machines just joined two together. Note reason for this sometimes the water fill pipe are shorter on new machines so by combining two pipes existing and new a very easy fix no leaks brilliant
