I purchased this for my elderly mom. She says it's very comfortable. The motor is very quiet. It helps her circulation.

I decided to buy this due to a recent experience while recovering from a surgery complication. It got me thinking that my wife and I are getting older, plus there's still a couple parents and aunts and uncles around notably older than us. I apologize that I forgot to take pictures when I tested it.It is very good quality and doesn't make a bunch of noise. The comfort level is pretty good as well. It's not quite the same as the high end medical device you'll find at some hospitals but they cost thousands of dollars. In my opinion it is a great product for a very inexpensive price.

Worked great for about 4hr. Then air hose to tube came off and I have had put it back on 10 or 12 time the first day! I am returning it to Amazon for a refund and have ordered aa new one from a different company

My daughter has lost the use of her legs due to severe back problems and psoriatic arthritis. This blowup mattress is specifically advertised as helping to prevent bedsores. My daughter's problem isn't so much bedsores as being unable to move well and find comfortable positions when she sleeps. I was hoping the mattress would provide her some relief with regard to those issues. The mattress itself was an easy setup. The pump is quiet, and the alternating flow of air does create a fluctuating surface that helps prevent bedsores. As for just a comfortable sleeping surface, my daughter did not get the relief she was hoping for--the fluctuating surface maybe simulating, even a little, the changing of sleeping positions. (If that makes sense.) It's a little hard, though she still felt it would be the right comfort level for some, just not her. I guess I'm going to have to look for alternatives. We're still going to keep this mattress, as there's every possibility she's going to need it in the future. I think we got it just a little too soon.

This HITHINKMED Alternating Air Pressure Mattress would be a great addition to any home with someone at risk of pressure sores. Out of the box, we immediately placed it on the max setting for half an hour, and after that it had filled to an excellent firmness. When laid upon by somebody weighing less than 200 pounds, the air did not dispersed into adjacent areas and stayed inflated nicely. The max weight listed is about 300 pounds. It seems durable and is easily washable. Our 70 pound dog ran over it with untrimmed nails and did not puncture the fabric (not an intentional experiment). It does not come with a patch kit; however, each tube can be individually removed by unsnapping the ends and separating from the pumping hose to be replaced. This is convenient, allowing individual tubes to be replaced if just 1 tube is damaged, rather than needing to replace the entire mattress. The pump/motor is nice and quiet which we like. The pump cord is nice and long and the pump hose is also long. It comes packaged in a compact box making it convenient for travel if needed as well. It does not come with a travel bag. It does not give you options for inflation time, rather, it is set at a 12 minute automated interval, which I wish was customizable. Finally, we found that the parallel tube design is much less comfortable than a honeycombed or bubble alternating design due to the size of the tubes (they’re rather large ~10 inches circumference, and about 3.5 inches in diameter. The alternating convex and concave waves along the mattress may be uncomfortable to some.
